To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Rooms were very tight in terms of space but fine for us as we were only there for one night and didn't spend much time in the apartment. On the expensive side, but maybe they need to be booked well in advance to get better rates, or maybe that's just Barcelona on Pride weekend!
Very impressed with the self service check-in facility supported by instructions via phone. It worked very well! The location of the apartments is excellent for Gothic Quarter and Boqueria market, surprisingly not at all noisy. The apartment itself was very clean and served us very well for an overnight stay.

IrelandThe receptionist out of hours who attended by phone our check In was rude and obnoxious. Not helpful atall. We were a family of 2 adults 2 children who book 1 night I. Barcelona as we were staying in another resort 2 hours from Barcelona. We had forgotten our passports and he made us feel.like we couldn't check in and were going to spend the night on the street initially. He said we would have to have a passport to check in. But this was not true in fact all we needed to do was pay the city tax of 12 euro and all was OK. But he was rude and hung up the phone. When my husband called him back he was also rude and not helpful. But thankfully took payment for city tax and we were granted access to the apartment for our 2 children and us to sleep in. I will not be recommending this place. Very poor customer service.

United States of AmericaNo cleaning service. No response from staff. When we arrived the beds were made but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bathroom stunk and there was no ventilation. The heater didn't work and we needed assistance and didn't get any assistance. The hair dryer didn't work and we were told by staff that it worked we just didn't know how to use it. We called for cleaning and towels and were given the Runaround for 3 days. Day 2 we were told someone would come the next day. Day 3 we were told someone would come during the day, when we called back we were told we should've called earlier that no one was there. Day 4 we were told that they don't offer cleaning so they don't know who would've told us that and that no one was available to get us towels. We finally ran into someone at the facility and got towels on our check out date. It was very frustrating. There was little light, bedrooms were very small and uncomfortable. In general, the staff was not responsive and had we had bigger issues I would be concerned that no one is there at all to assist. It was completely contactless and we never saw anyone except for the lady that gave us the towels. Every communication was via a phone line and very little help.
