Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainThe triple room was a tad smaller than in other hotels of the same chain (and obviously, the same can be said comparing it with other hotels).
The food, the pools, the staff, the spa... Everything was great and we had a good time in family (we were traveling with a toddler, one child, one teenager and two older people and all of them had a good time due to the variety in activities that you can do there).

SpainThe pool closed at 6pm - the loveliest time of the day to relax there???!! The hotel is on a headland so there’s a steep hill to get up (we knew this). But it is not lit so not a great walk back at night - and there were no taxis around.
Excellent value, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Large pool area. Easy parking outside the door although there is also a paid hotel car park too.

NetherlandsThe whole place had rundown feeling. The main hall was gloomy, just illuminated by some dim cold lights. After some rain there were leaks everywhere. For each pair of elevators, only one was actually in operation. The jacuzzi in the covered pool did not work. The gym was in a pitiful state: the machines were all rusty and wobbly to the point of being dangerous, other were simply broken. The outdoor tennis court should be re-surfaced entirely. In the room the only power sockets were on the wall opposite to the bed. Our room (302) was just above the hotel entrance were people gather at night to chat. My recommendation is get a room further down the corridor.
The hotel is placed on the top of a promontory. Being a bit higher than sea level would make a difference during a hot summer night. The room was spacious with a nice balcony with sea view.

SpainExcellent stay here on our 50th wedding anniversary. Complimentary cake and a bottle of bubbly very well received. Excellent breakfast and evening buffets with wide choice. Most guests here are Spanish, so local dishes with lots of seafood and delicious desserts. Plenty to fill a wet afternoon with pool tables and tenpin bowling alley. Staff were friendly and helpful A car is recommended as the hotel is on a hill with little within walking distance. We were very satisfied with our visit.

RECEPTION On arrival there was a wait of 20 minutes as there were so many people checking in with three members of staff checking them in. The young man that checked us in was friendly. He took our details and gave us our room card and said that our room was on the 5th floor. Unfortunately he didn't tell us any information about how to get there, we were left to find our way around. We asked other clients were the pool, the restaurant and the lifts were, I felt rushed at reception as there were so many people waiting and I never thought to ask. We bought an armband from him that gave us unlimited drinks at lunchtime. He told us this information, put the armband on and didn't cut the remainder of the tag off. I thought that I needed to do this myself until I watched as he cut the next ladies off for her, I then asked him to cut mine. I felt that I was not given the same attention as the other clients as they were given information in Spanish, maybe it was a language barrier. We were given the information on a sheet of paper, all in Spanish. We walked aimlessly around the hotel looking for a bar to get a cold drink after a long drive. The bar staff were very busy but friendly. I can read some Spanish so once we found our room I read the details of the hotel. Perhaps a sheet of information in English, French German and Spanish would be welcoming and helpful for non Spanish speakers. We visited the reception on a few occasions when they weren't so busy to ask questions and the staff were very helpful and friendly. THE POOL We sat around the pool on our first day, it is well equipped with lots of clean sunloungers. The pools areas are kept lovely with a lot of thought gone into the planning, no broken tiles or sunloungers.
