Bare structure, very simple common areas, not clean linen, lack of bath towels upon arrival (it was necessary to request towels twice, the first by chat and the second by reminder phone call). Heating not working, insufficient cleanliness of the room, lack of a wardrobe to hang clothes (there were only office furniture, a plastic chair, a metal chest of drawers and a document holder). Bunk beds with a precarious structure. Slow wifi.

Easy check in and check out. 10 minutes walking to the bar area and bus stop to the airport, perfect location.

General ambiance was a bit bleak. All white wall and long empty corridors felt a bit soulless.

Smooth check in despite no staff and a bit of a complicated procedure, instructions were clear and it went fast. Could keep my bike in my room. Nice shower.

The cleanliness of the floors could be improved. Nevertheless the bathroom was very clean and everything is adequate for a hostel stay!

The location was truly exceptional. Just a 8min walk to the train station where busses and trams can take you anywhere in the city. The supermarket is just down the street and there are multiple breakfast places in the area.

entry from the street felt like entering an abandoned building with no signage (that I noticed) directy you to the entry point - though to be fair there was little option other than to climb the stairs. elecric outlets very limited. The bed light socket needed the bunk bed to be moved for access - to plug in the bed lights. Someone sleeping on the bench outside the entry door on level 1 was disconcerting.

For the cost of the room divided by 4 occupants this is excellent value. However at the time of booking this was the only avaialble room for my single occupancy; the disappointment is mine alone to bear. The internal corridor to the rooms is well lit and clean.

It felt like a ghost building, I did not see anyone from arrival to departure - so it felt a bit antisocial. The room was really dark.

The location was really good and overall it was relatively clean.

The bunk beds are not so nice to see - the room itself would be much nicer if the beds were regular ones. Other than that, I have no other issues.

Bilbao Central Rooms is a collection of individual rooms, so there is a "hostel" atmosphere although I had my own room and bathroom with appropriate privacy. Everything was very clean, the bathroom is quite new and pleasant to use. I didn't go to the third floor to see common area. Jon, the staff, was very pleasant during our text communication. The hotel is 15 minutes from the old town city center, and with such an afordable price, this is a great value for somebody who just needs to sleep over and visit the city for a few hours, as I did.

The check in was easy..room although very compact was clean with a comfortable bunk bed and ensuite shower .good value for money. Good for a short stay

Bunk beds. Ladder is loose, only one screw securing it in place so it wobbles when climbing up and down. Guard rail is loose as well so can’t use it to assist climbing.

The staff we came across mainly didn't speak English. It was doable with some basic Spanish though. One of the showers was broken during our stay and didn't get fixed at all.

Cons: - Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. - Access to the building was a bit scary. - Common areas were a bit gloomy. - Only 4 lockers for 6 beds, luckily there were only 3 of us in the room.

Pros: - Room was great, bed was comfy and had some curtains for some privacy. - Staff was super helpful and gave me great advice about places to visit and to eat.
