Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe roof terrace had amazing views but umbrellas would have been appropriate to shade us from the sun. Very inviting but needed this sun protection.
The location was an oasis from the busy street activity. Calm with a very helpful staff who were most accommodating to us. The room was well appointed and very comfortable.

United KingdomWe honestly can’t think of anything that needs improving.
The hotel itself is beautiful, so quiet and relaxing even though it’s in the heart of the bustle. The Santa Cruz and cathedral are literally on your doorstep and you can easily and quickly get anywhere on foot. The staff are so friendly, they can’t do enough for you. The welcome was very inviting and the Spanish guitarist each evening is a fantastic touch too. The room had some lovely thoughtful touches, such as a great foot cream, perfect after a day exploring the city. Toiletries are Molten Brown, which was a lovely surprise also. The roof terrace gives some incredible views over the city. We love to travel, we love Spain and this is the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We will be recommending to friends and family.

United States of AmericaNothing really …except perhaps a full length mirror in our room would have been a nice addition
It was an oasis of serenity and beauty and a restful place to return to after a busy day seeing the sights of Seville. The welcoming and attentive staff were outstanding. We also very much enjoyed the guitar performance in the evening… that additional touch was so sweet and wonderful to provide for its guests !

United KingdomAir conditioning could be better, especially for guests checking in during summer. Better choice of breads, cheese & meats at breakfast, although everything we had was fresh and home made
Boutique with only 17 rooms and excellent service. Pay for the parking, as hotel has own underground floor in a nearby carpark for 25 euros a day.

United KingdomLeaving it!
Absolutely wonderful hotel from start to finish. It felt more like a 5* hotel in terms of service than every 5* I have stayed in London and I’ve stayed in many! It was so nice to arrive early, before check in , and be welcomed with a glass of cava and snacks while we checked in. The suite we had was lovely. Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom. Lovely footcream left after every days sightseeing. Sweet treats at night. Breakfast was buffet style with pastries and hot foot , most mornings the selection included a delicious hand made savoury flan. The staff were absolutely lovely. Each evening we sat in the courtyard and listened to an excellent guitarist while we had a very good G and T!

United KingdomSize of my bedroom and was a bit dark. Also the electricity in the plugs only worked when one of the lights was on. I didn’t get round to asking why.
Casa Del Poeta was set in the perfect location for everything in Seville a few minutes from the cathedral and Royal Alcázar . It was down a very quaint lane which you could not drive to but the taxi driver took our bags to the hotel for us which was perfect. It was very quiet in the hotel with the sounds of the guitarist playing every evening for an hour. We had a room with the bathroom downstairs which was not a problem. The bedroom itself was on the smaller side and a little dark with limited wardrobe space but we were out and about every day so was not too much of a problem. The toiletries were all Molton Brown and replaced daily. The room was also cleaned daily and lovely chocolates left in the evenings. The staff were all very lovely and even had a beautiful lemon meringue desert left in my room with a bottle of bubbles for my birthday as a surprise. I would highly recommend this very idyllic hotel if you are visiting Seville.

CanadaAn exceptional hotel in the heart of old Seville. Very near the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral de Seville - two must sees in the city. Beautifully appointed rooms and lobby area. Staff are exceedingly friendly and attentive. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

United KingdomWe stayed in two different rooms during our stay, the Deluxe was one more spacious and with a balcony. The standard one a bit on the small size for the three of us.
Excellent location, right in the middle of the historical neighbourhood, literally 2 minutes from the Cathedral and Real Alcazar and lots of tapas bars. Staff incredibly helpful and kind - special thanks to Rocio and Jessica! Inner courtyard and rooftop make it quite special. Live guitar concerts in the evening.
