Noise from outside was difficult to sleep if people had "too much " fun outside, but manageable with ear plugs. Maybe something to offer for the room?? could help. Everything else was great. Good job and good price. Keep it this way ! I would return.

Excellent location. Clean room, very friendly staff, room is a decent medium/small size but very good for its simple purpose of sleeping and having a great located "home"base to do several tourist visits around the city center. Nothing fancy but fully renovated in and old historic building. Spot on, just a nice ,clean, comfortable small room for a great city experience for a lower cost price. Exactly what we were looking for.

My partner and I do not have any complaints. We were delighted we found Veracruz Puerta del Sol for our 3D2N stay.

Location was superb as its just a stone throw away from the metro and we were surrounded by restaurants and bars so finding meals wasn't an issue.

If you're a light sleeper don't expect to get any kip! Madrid likes to party ALL night and right outside your window but perhaps that is the price of staying somewhere right in the centre of the city!?

I found hairs and dust in the bathroom. The window shutters were broken.

It is located in a very central area, in a street with lots of bars and restaurants. This is great because there are many places to go however it is a bit noisy in the room

Only that I wasn't sure what a Hostal was, and so was confused at first as to if I was in the right place or not.

Room was small, but fine for one person. Location was fabulous, right near a main plaza. Quiet during the day, but the street came alive at night packed with restaurants.

The price I paid was considerably ($670) than 3 night stays at the same time. Less than $400 for 3 nights in April. I feel like I was duped.

The neighborhood is very animated and although rooms are rather quiet and you can close the blinds, there is quite a bit of noise from the partying underneath. Most of the staff is friendly but not all of them. I was a bit late for check out and although I Infomed them, they wanted to charge more and literally the lady from the front desk had to take the luggage out of the room even before I arrived from my meetings, but they stored it till later on cause my flight was in the evening. No breakfast nor coffee on the property but many places around. The price is high compared to what you are getting, but in this location in Madrid, everything is expensive. The wifi is not 100% reliable.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of Sol, very close to the metro, shops, restaurants, centre of Madrid and walking distance from everything. The room was small, but clean and was ready upon arrival. It had a view on the street, the building is very secure for solo travelers and the front desk is open 24 hours a day with English speaking staff.

We book a room with two single beds and were told on the same day that it had to be 1 double bed which wasn’t ideal
