Nice old-style hotel with charming character . Very clean and looks like it's been recently redecorated throughout. Probably once had great views but the town is now a mess of ugly apartment buildings all round . Its 2 minutes from the bus station and also close to the beach. The man at reception was very friendly and helpful

The guy on reception when we arrived was brilliant ! He sorted our room, he ran outside in the pouring rain to sort our parking, he ran about in the restaurant later to check we had drinks, menus etc & he was great fun !

We loved the location near the promenade with easy walking into the lovely little town. The hotel was clean and bright and our room and bathroom was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable and it offered us a lovely view over the bay. For an additional 9 euros we had secure parking in the adjacent garage. We went for a walk on arrival and due to the generous 12 noon check out we were able to explore the beautiful little harbour again in the morning. Such interesting architecture! The continental buffet breakfast was plentiful. We would Definately recommend for a night before a Bilbao or Santander ferry departure and do take time to explore the harbour area.

Our second trip to Las Rocas. The staff were super friendly and helpful (even searching out a bar so I could watch the Rugby). It is located really well, close to the beach but at one end of it so it's not overcrowded. It's only a short walk into town. The secure parking was a few meters away, the room was comfortable with a modern ensuite. The evening meal was lovely and the breakfast plentiful. An amazing find and the half board price fantastic value.

This is a very good hotel with secure private parking. It's in a great location at one end of the long promenade at Castro Urdiales. The staff are very professional and helpful. The rooms are good quality and spotlessly clean. Some have wonderful sea views.

We were met by a very helpful member of staff who took us to the garage to see if our car would be able to be housed which it was BMW X5 The room was large, on the corner of the building with double windows giving you views out to sea Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good sized bathroom with a bath. Breakfast was very good with hot food cooked to order I chose this hotel due to the secure car parking and distance to the ferry port in Bilbao, which was approximately 25 mins away. I would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely stay there again and visit more of the coastline in that region.
