Just a few minor things: the first day (Sunday) at breakfast there was a separate a la carte menu which delicious extra's. The next day the menu was not on the tables. When we asked for it later, they brought it but that day the a la carte food was not as good as the first day. The hotel is in a busy area so if you are a light sleeper you have to ask for a quiet room on the backside

The interior of the hotel is very modern and everything just fits. From the bar, to the reception, to the rooms and even the bathrooms, it all looks splendid. The beds are comfortable with quality linnens and the towels are soft and new. The hotel has a small but well equipped gym in the basement, also in the same modern style. The breakfast buffet is extensive with something for everybody. The staff was helpfull with finding good restaurants for us. Excellent location.

If I have to nitpick about something the scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet were not well executed. Everything else was simply outstanding.

The A/C was not working! Although it was 50 degrees outside at night the room felt a bit stuffy with the A/C not functioning and was uncomfortable. When brought up to the staff they said to open a window, which would be ok yet the noise it loud with windows open at night! That would be my only complaint! Aside from that, a perfect stay!

The property was in an excellent location! The decor is beautiful, exactly as shown on Booking!

There was street noise Friday and Saturday nights- mostly from pedestrians walking home very late at night.

We liked the fact that, apart from the 25 euro breakfast, which we did not order, the hotel had coffee and pastries available for free in the morning for all the guests. You don't see that in many hotels.

the upgrade wasn't worth it.

Everything was great, however i asked and paid extra for a better view and got a building renovation staring at us, we couldn't even open the window due to noise and dust. but we really enjoyed the comfortable bed and bathroom was amazing.

Minor problem: There was only one towel in this double bedroom and the soap container was almost empty but it was taken care of immediately. Breakfast is not included and is pricy, 25 euro per person.

We were here for three nights and we chose this hotel for the location because we arrived by train from Málaga. It's just a short walk from Atocha train station to this hotel. It's also walking distance to the wonderful Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and to the equally excellent Museo del Prado. The Botanical Garden is behind the hotel. The Front Desk had a wonderful staff who all spoke good English. Especially the young Bolivian woman was excellent and very service-minded. Kudos to her. The beds were very comfortable and there was a reasonably sized bathroom with all the amenities. There was a construction site next to the hotel but it was not that noisy.

all was ok only the price was high, we paid 333 Euros per night its bit of too much and my friend paid for same hotel Euro 160 for 1 night, and that too same night which we stayed, they were 2 and we were 3 but that should not double the price as it was similar room

Unlike bath towels, we are given one hand towel almost everyday. So I had to call the reception to ask for one more :)

Hotel's location is perfect. It is close to every place you would like to visit. Museums, popular spots, train station, city park, all within walking distance. Even though it is in a central location, rooms are very quiet. Bed is extremely comfortable. Bathroom, and in general the room, was spacious. And breakfasts are to die for.
