The breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from! The room size was great, it was just my kid and it was very roomy! The bathroom was very clean and over all we were happy with our stay there! We couldn't use the pool because the hotel was closing for the winter but it was a nice size

The queue for breakfast in the morning was frustrating. The tables were not cleaned and allocated quick enough, which meant families were waiting for a long time to sit down.

Two members of staff particular stood out. They were very kind, welcoming and sociable. Their names were Paula and Neiva. They were so good with our children and helped us a lot as many staff didn’t speak any English. They made our stay at Medplaya very enjoyable.

I'd say it's not so well made for people with kids. There is a small play area, but its not much fun. They say they have rooms for kids, but they don't have a pot. Staff however compensated by being nice with my two year old

The staff was very friendly and helpful that made up the positive experience through out the stay. The location is good if you like being at the beach all the time. I would say that for my kind of a traveller, the town Platja D'aro is boring, so you have to get a car and drive around these amazing rocky beaches and tiny hilltop villages and middle age towns of Costa Brava. I liked that they offered different food for dinners. Nice to try new kinds of fish

Plates and cups were not clear enough, sometimes I found cups with lipstick prints.

Food was very good and taste. Localization is also pretty good a few minutes to the beach also there are a few shops nearby.

Lobby area needed refurbishing and breakfast room needed a rethink in its layout,far to hectic and narrow. Pool area also needed a makeover pool was in rather the wrong place in my opinion and area around snack bar not used to best potential as sunbed would be best placed in this area not tables and chairs.sunbed NOT good at all not adjustable whatsoever very uncomfortable,we retreated to the beach

Location wise it was excellent. Rooms looked fairly recently refurbished and finished to a good standard and quality. Excellent shower and bathroom.

Parking is subject to availability upon arrival so be prepared. There is a 24/7 carpark with security about a 15 min walk away. You are able to unload your car and store luggage at the hotel.

Friendly staff. Location was good for both the beach and main street. Comfy beds and rooms were kept very clean.

The swimming pool is tiny. And on this area the depth difference from 0 to 2 meters. It smells like chlorine.

The room wasn't big but clean and comfy enough. We got the room on the 4th floor. It was quiet. Breakfast was OK, it's the same every day. Dinners were better. They tried to experiment with different cuisines.

Room a bit small, exterior of the building no nice. Reception staff very polite but not knowledgeable about attraction, places around. Also missing trolley for the luggage. Should be available for the guests.

Personal at check wasn’t really helpfull. I had to ask where my room was, where the pool was, where the bar was…

Rooms were very nice and clean. Really liked the soap dispencers in the room as we now have to wash our hands more frequently and this a good and environmentally friendly option

We had a mobility scooter, and they charged us €10 a night to charge the battery even though it only needed charging twice, we had to pay for the full week and when we went to our "parking space" it was an extension lead and on one of the days, it rained and it wasn't covered. I asked for an iron on another day, or if there was an ironing room, I had to pay €20 to hire the iron, which was returned when I took it back. This has never happened in any hotel in the past. Very, very poor entertainment rep. We also asked if one of our rooms could be pool view when we booked, happy to pay extra obviously, because my father has parkinsons disease and would spend a significant time in his room but we had a view of the car park, not at all pleasant. I asked to move but nothing could be done.

The parking is an extra and expensive. It is subject to availability. The breakfast is really industrial and absolutely not homemade. Less choice but better is needed.

We got more then we expected! Food was amazing, always warm delicious and fresh. Stuff was very professional and friendly. Room are very comfortable and clean, cleaning the personal changed towels every day. All recommendations for this amazing hotel!

Everything was great!

Our kid was very exited when he saw two bank beds in the room 😜 Breakfast was nice. Coffee from one coffee machine was pretty good, and from the other - awful 😂 But in general we liked our stay very much.
