    On the whole it was a good week, the location wasn’t ideal but we weren’t far from the Metro.

    There were a number of annoying issues, the worst was the state of the floor outside the bathroom which had been water damaged. That section needs to be replaced urgently as it is a trip hazard and could lead to injury. Someone has put screws in to hold down the flooring which can cut your feet. Other items were that the TV only has Spanish language channels and the volume won’t go above number 11. The bedroom faces the road which can be noisy at night, someone has damaged a number of surfaces by leaving burning cigarettes on them despite the ban on smoking in the flat and this spoils the otherwise clean appearance. Also one light in the bathroom isn’t working.

    Excellent facilities, spacious rooms, small patio off the kitchen with table and chairs, bath with shower over.

    The internet connection did not work on our first night. Need to fix the floor.

    The location is very accessible from public transport, the place is well secured, the kitchen, the shower, and toilet amenities are a plus point!

    The only downside was the summer bugs, was just plenty of them. We needed to contact the property for bug infection, they reacted but needs more care.

    In General the place is really good for families with 4+ kids, it has all you need to visit the city, is not so central (walking disctance to the center) but you have all public transport available to visit all the main atractions.

    No everything was wonderful.

    The rooms were clean and comfortable. Also the property provided facilities like the washing machine and dryer which were very handy. The host also provided us with some goodies in the fridge which was a nice welcome.

    I didn't like the following: The online check-in, it took a lot of time and with a lot of details about us, then they provided us with the wrong entry codes, including the apartment address. Since they only have a phone number where communication is only via whatsapp and not a direct operator, I had emotions regarding this aspect. In addition, if something goes wrong, I honestly don't know how to get help or support. They have predefined robot messages and again the accommodation number is requested, etc., the whole history. In addition, we requested the invoice for the accommodation, we also paid VAT and still haven't received it. At our request, the messages asking for the accommodation number are repeated and the same messages continue and the problem is still not solved. Disadvantage: the fact that everything is digitized and you communicate with a robot.

    I liked that the apartment is big, clean, equipped with equipment in which you can cook. We had breakfast and dinner sometimes in the apartment, in this sense we managed quite well. It is in a quiet and safe area. It is very close to the Plaza del Center metro station.

    1) Be ready for extra charges: Surprised by extra fees for tourist tax EUR 20,00 and fee for holding property security deposit GBP 17,00. 2) Check out was not flexible. Got our kids backpack stollen at the city hotel park playground as we had to carry all our luggages and stuff there before catching our train.

    Self check in. 10 mins walk from Barcelona Sants Train Station. Welcome snack for later comers. Coffee machine, washing machine. Balcony on sunny side.

    There were some hidden costs and processes that really detracted. Once the booking was confirmed we received an email from the host saying that in order to get the check in details we had to register all people staying in the apartment (fair enough, we had to do the same for Madrid, but my goodness it is an exhaustive list)) and you must lodge a security deposit with the company Swikly. We grumbled about this (that this security deposit not being mentioned until after you book) and the owners said it would not be drawn against unless they needed to recover damages. Then four days after we checked out, a tourist tax of 5€ per person per day was withdrawn from the security deposit. I (now) appreciate that a nightly tourist tax in Barcelona is a thing - but this could be communicated better by the owner in the listing.

    The location was excellent and the property was very clean and had very good amenities. Very handy access to and from Barcelona Santa train station. The apartment is nice and in a nice location.

    This was the worst place I have ever stayed in - the whole apartment was damaged and very dirty, beyond any possible excuse. The furniture, doors, walls were all broken and dirty - large stains and cigarettes burns on the sofa, bathroom door and ceiling swollen from water dripping, rusty bath tube, A/C not working etc. Olala Homes - the host - simply ignored our complaint, and so did Booking.com, although I am a long time customer of theirs.It ruined our holiday, as we had to move to a hotel after 2 nights and pay again for accomodation, as the apartment was simply uninhabitable! 350 eur per night - total scam!

    Location was acceptable, although the view was very basic

    We asked for few things before we came and actually when we arrived no one knew what we talked about. We had few problems, but we talked to computer. It's took to long until someone answers to us. The communication with olala was not satisfied. I had to send them our emails for approval.

    The apartment was close to bait habad.

    They gave us the apartment without AC and and we had to wait for 4 days until they gave us new apartment and they could not fix the AC then they gave us another apartment which means we switched 3 apartments and they did not compensate us at all.

    - communication was the main problem - the company warns you about many fines you may have and requires deposit - at the same time, the check in time is 15, we arrived at 15, the cleaning team had just started, told us to come back in an hour. however, they threaten with a fine even if you check out a bit late, a bit hypocritical in our opinion - the lockbox (keypad) for our door got broken, we informed the company at around 16 on the respective day, they told us that they would fix that - we came back home at around 22 in the evening, and the keypad was not fixed, we could not get into the apartment - we contacted the company on whatsapp where they did not respond, and even when they did the responses were just basic phrases with no action taking place later on - then we called the company, spent more than 1 hour in total, when someone finally came and let us in - however the issue was not fixed, we could not leave the apartment. if we left we would not be able to get in anymore - happily it was our last night, so we left in the morning and hope someone dealt with the keypad issue later on - thus, the communication is very disappointing. we are thankful that someone caught out attention and we did not have to sleep on the street with all our belongings locked into the apartment - in addition - a bit too hot, the AC seemed unmanageable

    The door lock of the apartment didn't work well, so we had to enter the door code more than 20 times... We don't have telephone number for the emergency contact, so I asked it to the guardian of the building. I called the owner company (Olala homes), but staff were not helpful. A staff told me to communicate via WhatsApp and ask us to send video to know the situation of the door lock, but they don't answer immediately even we can't enter the apartment. It was bad unmanned operation. We wasted precious time in Barcelona. At least, the door lock should be fixed for next customers soon!

    The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, and very clean.

    not so good as on photos, in general the apartment needs maintenance, my security deposit still not returned besides of promises, not so comfy pillows, floor and furniture is not clean enough.

    Location and district itself is pleasant.

    The ease of getting into the apartment. The location was wonderful. Close to the centre but also a quiet neighbourhood. The balcony was so amazing.

    The furniture was a bit tired, might need a small refresh. A few things needed to be fixed and when we contacted the management company they were fixed. Very professional.

    It’s was a great family apartment, with AC in all the rooms, and a washer/dryer. The location is in a very family friendly part of town. Not near a tourist area but great access to public transportation. There was a great bakery right outside front entrance and wonderful fruit stands nearby. Lots of cafes and great restaurants around. If you want to know how people live in Barcelona this is the place.
