Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaAlthough it was not an issue for us, mobility-impaired visitors should be aware that entrance to the hotel requires climbing several cobblestone steps up from the street and access to most rooms is via stairs. Arrive by taxi since Uber is not allowed in this historic zone.
A lovely local and historic feel to the property, Very centrally located near Plaza Nueva, Paseo de los Tristes, the Albayzin neighborhood and more. We had a room with a small sitting room and an amazing view of Alhambra. Very friendly and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast had a variety of hot and cold food with a local flavor.

United KingdomThe room was quite small and when it rained one day there was nowhere to be other than sit on the bed. The bathroom was adequate but somewhat cramped and the shower could have been better.
The hotel is ideally located to visit the Alhambra, the Albaicin and the cathedral. We had a wonderful view of the Alhambra. Staff were friendly, welcoming and informative and helped arrange a taxi on departure.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast however was disappointing when comparing to the two hotels we'd stayed in prior to our days in Granada. Limited selection and not particularly well presented. Food was just "ok".
loved the view from our room, the staff friendliness, and the location.

Loved the character of the hotel, the inside is really pretty. The location was excellent for visiting the Alhambra and Albaicín area. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We had a family room with a spiral staircase which was perfect for our boys (age 11 &13) as they had their own space.

The hotel is itself a historical building. It is located in albaisin and in walking distance to mirador san nicolas. It is close to taxi station, from which we took a taxi to Alhambra in reasonable price. We booked a room for three adults. The room is a loft and the second floor has another bed. It is of consideration that the steps are relatively narrow. The bathroom is large with a window to the inner block of the building. Warm water is garantteed. Though the bath tub is relatively small that when I walk out I need to pay extra attention and it might be better to have a handle next to it for safety.

United KingdomUnfortunately, the heavy rains meant the drains smelled really bad, even penetrating to our bedroom. We were on the top (3rd) floor and I don't know if this had anything to do with it. It was unfortunate and there is little that can be done about it. At one point we were forced to get out of the room and brave the elements just to get some fresh air.
I chose the property for its central location and was pleased with the convenience of getting back to the hotel during the day when we needed it. It was a lovely surprise to walk through the main front door into an enclosed courtyard and further on to a much bigger space. We didn't take breakfast but easily found places that served coffee and light food throughout the day. The nearest and best was on the road to the Alhambra.

United KingdomOur room was located in a part of the hotel that was next to a nightclub. This caused some disturbance but only for one night of our stay. It was closed on the Sunday night.
Breakfast was nice. Good selection. Coffee lovely! A little bit hot in the dining room due to the grill.

United KingdomHotel was centrally located, though as vehicular access is restricted in the roads around the hotel, the taxi adds a supplement to take you to the hotel. Although needed when you have suitcases etc, this can be avoided during the stay by being dropped off at the end of the road, it was a couple of minutes walk from the barrier to the hotel. We had a duplex family room (double bed on lower floor, single beds on the upper floor, which the children loved!) Large bathroom and reasonably spacious room, classic wooden furniture. Breakfast was plentiful, something for all tastes. We went skiing on a couple of days and were able to access the dining room a little early, which was so helpful! A really lovely, traditional hotel, well positioned but quiet. We all enjoyed staying and agreed that we would stay again, next time we're in Granada.
