We had a room facing the main street which was quite noisy. Although there was double glazing, even with the window closed the room was quite noisy from early morning. Pay extra for a cathedral view room if you want quiet. Pillows were not very comfortable.

Location was great, near the bus/train station, plenty of bars and cafes nearby. Very friendly and helpful welcome. The room was clean and well equipped, there was a good shower and a small fridge and kettle. Bed (mattress) was comfortable.

Some people are complaining about the street. It's true there is some traffic but it didn't bother me and during night time it's quiet.

I had a great stay at San Ignacio. The location is great: You can reach everything in San Sebastian by foot and it's also close to the bus terminal. The room is nice and the staff is very welcoming! They give good advice for Pinxtos and what to explore in San Sebastian. Value for money is great. I would definitely book again!

The only thing we didn't like is that the room was on the side of the building that was next to the road. Overall, we were extremely happy with San Ignacio Centro and would highly recommend it for a short stay.

The location was fantastic right next to the cathedral. Our host had thought of everything you could need - a coffee machine in reception, a hairdryer and kettle in the room, a comfortable bed. He was also extremely kind and helpful.

Wake up by the bell every morning hehe! Bed smells from the bathroom and you need to find a place for your luggage after checking out! Kindly the cleaning lady she let me leave my backpack and ready sweet of her.

The Pension is located within a beautiful but probably old building, which was probably why there definitely was a noticeable issue with the plumbing's smell- which was however not the result of the bathroom not being properly cleaned (the room was pristinely cleaned both on arrival & daily). A duvet rather than a series of blankets would have been more comfortable to manage.

amazing location in front of a gorgeous cathedral square with Pintxo bars & cafes and Mr. Xavier was most helpful with recommendations! The room was spacious and clean, which is all we were looking for in a base for our short stay in beautiful San Sebastian. The complementary tea, kettle & presence of the mini fridge were a comfortable addition. I'd say a good value for money option!

we arrived late due to traffic congestion on the highway and we unable to check-in to our room because staff was not available. we did not understand that arrival time would be critical at this hostal since there was no automated way to enter the hostal and get into our room.

Would prefer to have an air conditioner - especially if it’s very hot.

The location. The lift and facility for disabled person. Javier the owner was amazing - my friend had a broken ankle and he drove us to the airport, carried our bags and helped us with checkin and saw us safely on the plane. Thanks Javier - we enjoyed your company.

Because it was San Sebastian city center, price was expensive.

Lovely comfortable room, located in center of the city. Contacted by host to say that the room was available early. Met by host Javier who was very informative of places to see and eat, and upgraded us to a better room as we had booked months previously. Fridge, tea/coffee facilities in room.

Very little complaint for the price which was very good value for money. To be very picky, though tea making facilities were there, a spoon would have been useful. Also not a fan of the foam soap dispenser.

Location is perfect for my purpose which was for decent clean accommodation within easy reach if the two train stations I needed to use.
