Lovely stay at Rincon Gran Via Hotel. Location is perfect and walking distance to everything. Staff is very cordial. I could leave my luggage at the reception on the last day. Will highly recommend.

It’s nothing actually, they have two very small elevators and it can get quite busy. But, hey, on the plus side, it has elevators, and you don’t have to carry the luggage on the stairs.

Location location location. And everything was fair, great value for money. It’s not Four Seasons, but the room has a comfortable bed, tv, AC, a large and actually very nice bathroom, the breakfast was intimate with an excellent view, wide variety of food, not only supermarket cheese and meats. It is perfect for a tourist. Metro station Plaza de España is right in front of the building, it’s in the middle of gran via near riu hotel , walking distance to everything, it is perfect!! The stuff is very nice, when we stayed is was cold in Madrid and our ac did not heat, I asked at the reception and they fixed it within minutes. They have 24/7 open reception. Very safe. Again, don’t expect luxurious experiences and interior design in the rooms, it’s very functional. Best kind of functional!

It was quite noisy during the night.

It was easy to find and reach. The staff were helpful. They even stored our luggage for a few hours. The room was relatively clean and had the amenities we needed.

Pillows very hard and quite noisy with the window open, but all bearable for a night.

Very handy overnight stay near Plaza de España metro station, having arrived around midnight from the airport. 10 minute walk to Principe Pio train station the next morning. Excellent breakfast with decent coffee!

We couldn't sleep adequately because the street was very noisy and the balcony door didn't close properly. We couldn't set the temperature up. I turned the heater of the wall off but it was still heating.

It's noisy. Hot water ran out fast, made us plan for when we each took showers.

There was a strange smell when I first checked in, I suspect it was caused by the rags used to mop the floors not being cleaned, and I need to open the windows for a while to ventilate the room. There were noticeable stains on the walls, the shelf for luggage was broken and the bathroom door was broken. Also since my room was at the doorway into the floor, the wood floor made a noise if someone passed by, didn't like it too much.

Really nice location, near to bus/metro station, easy to travel around the city. Stuff was nice, and welcoming. If u arrive early, u can store ur luggage there.

Unfortunately we had a room at the same floor with the breakfast room and in the morning there was a lot of noise and could not sleep. Very loud boulevard with many sirens passing, drunk people yelling and singing. It was a room inside our room which was locked but at some time someone tried to access it

A little bit noisy during the night, but considering it's location that shouldn't this surprising. There wasn't any toilet brush in the WC.

Excellent location - near the one of the biggest boulevards in Madrid. Major attractions are in a throw away from the hotel, including the nearby metro station. Personal was very nice and helped us with whatever requests we did have.
