Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe hotel is small and sweet, perfectly situated in the (mainly) pedestrian part of town, down the hill from Alhambra. It's a traditional riad-like building with different sizes of rooms within walking distance of lots of eateries and coffeehouses, perfect for exploring Granada

United KingdomIt was a bit noisy at night due to guest talking loudly in the lobby area. Since it’s an open space with balconies, you can hear every conversation they’re having. The bathroom and bedroom could do with more ventilation or use of some nice fragrance, as it smelt of cleaning products. And after use, it smelt a bit damp. Would recommended to keep the windows open for ventilation.
This hotel is lovely, perfect for a short stay. Very centrally location! The receptionist was also very lovely and helpful. I liked the layout / interior decor of the hotel, felt more like a traditional / historical home in Albaicin!

AustraliaI would have liked more than one towel.
The warm welcome from Santiago immediately made me feel comfortable. The ongoing service from the front desk from Milla was exceptional. She even came to work early to assist me with checkout. Staying at the hotel was a special introduction to Granadian hospitality and I was sad to leave.

AustraliaThe odour from the sewerage system was sometimes a little overpowering as were the cooking Snell's from next door...but not deal breakers.
Staff were fantastic. Santiago was especially helpful and ensured my stay was enjoyable. The location was great, although proved to be difficult when Easter processions blocked access to the street.

United KingdomNo soundproofing, so bring earplugs. Rooms and bathrooms feel bit dated so price seems too high for the quality. Our room was very dark with small tiny window. Also no tea or coffee facilities in the room. You have to pay for it downstairs which also feels like it’s a hostel and not a hotel which charges 160€ per night.
Property is in a perfect location. Everything is close, and building has a lot of old charm. There is floor heating which is nice in winter.

ChinaA bit noisy at night since it’s close to the Main Street. WiFi doesn’t work at all! The bathroom glass door was broken…
The hotel was really cute. The location is prime, very close to Alhambra.

SpainMy mattress was not comfortable. The shower was difficult. If left on the wall, water went all over the floor so had to hold shower hose while showering - it’s hard to wash yourself while holding shower hose. Otherwise good.
Location was great. Staff very helpful.

ItalyIt is a gem, excellent location, boutique hotel, quiet. My room was so lovely, simple yet so comfortable, traditional style. In December it is cold in Granada but the room was warm and cosy, even had floor heating, did not expect that. The staff is really welcoming and helped in every way. Great WiFi also!

United Arab EmiratesThis is a lovely place to stay in the historical district near Alhambra ! Lovely room with wonderful view and retro design that I liked very much , typical Andalusian architectural style of the building , and walking distance to Alhambra . The staff was very nice and helpful . I enjoyed my stay . And would definitely stay there again. There are so many restaurants near by and the area is very lively and vibrant . You can her the sound of the river that is just next to the hotel . Definitely worth staying and enjoying Granada and Alhambra.

United KingdomLittle things like the wardrobe door didn't stay shut, the chandelier needs attention (had broken links) and the side bedside lamp was faulty; two small decorative cushions displayed on the bed were creased and general air of not caring. The price we paid, therefore, I felt was too high. There is a coffee machine and a small selection of wrapped pastries available to buy from the receptionist but no restaurant at this hotel. One morning, we used a very close modern cafe which was luring, cold and extortionately priced. Plenty of other reasonable places to get breakfast in nearby square though.
Friendly greeting by receptionists. Lift to top floor for luggage was useful although used attractive staircase generally. The view from our bedroom balcony window, looking upward towards the Alhambra and down to street level the river and buzz of people below going past - gets very crowded! (but we didn't find it too noisy). Attractive, spacious accommodation although not quite as expected ie the photo shown with our booking. Our bedroom was set on split levels; the bed was set on a lower level (two/three steps down to it), also there were three/four steps up to the balcony: caution needed especially at night time! Comfy bed, good shower room.

Like the location. V close to The Alhambra and eateries. Our view of The Alhambra from the hotel room window wasn't half bad. It also had a view to the streets and the buzz of the place.

United KingdomThe wifi wasn't strong enough to reliably reach our room (on the 3rd floor). Also, it would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room, but maybe this isn't common in Andalucia.
The room was really nice, with a beautiful view of the Alhambra from the balcony. The location was excellent: a short walk from the cathedral, Alhambra, and Albaicin.
