This was an excellent B&B. Each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom that was very clean. If someone is sleeping in the living room, they will have to use one of the bathrooms in the bedrooms. It is an attic apartment, which was a very good temperature when traveling in the spring with outside temperatures around 10-15C. There was very little noise from the neighbors, and no road noise since it is in a neighborhood on the 3rd/4th floor. The bed is firm, but comfortable. It does not rock or squeak. The windows in the bedrooms have a very effective window shade that keeps the room dark when the sun comes up. Definitely recommend for up to 6 travelers.

Portugal25 Reviews3 helpful votes“A simple stay, without attentions...”Excellent Location and nice Apartment with several aspects that need improvement: A better response from the Host regarding Customer questions is required. Lack of information about check in and check out conditions. The cleanliness of the apartment and the quality of the bed linen and towels (the sink was dirty, the garbage container did not have a clean bag and there was garbage from other guests). Bed linen and towels do not smell freshly washed and towels are scratchy. Pillows are not good for sleeping, they are for decoration. Sofa is not comfortable. There is no Welcome Manual for the space, with useful information about the features of the apartment and its equipment, as well as emergency and security contacts. There is no first-aid kit, fire extinguisher or fire blanket. Crockery for cooking is basic. Need to improve the information in the advertisement about access to the apartment, distances to places of interest such as a supermarket that does not exist in the locality, but only in the neighboring village. Wi-fi is an important investment when we receive guests and it doesn't exist here. The Host does not issue a receipt to the Client, referring to the amount paid for the stay, directs the Customer to Booking.com.
The location is beautiful, the place is quiet and there is free parking. The house is as the photos show, accessible after a 2nd floor and only with stairs. Access is via a slightly dark hallway, but the apartment appears to have been recently renovated and is nice. The decoration is very basic and shabby, but that's what the advertisement page basically shows. Breakfasts and other meals were pleasantly prepared by us, but the appliances in the house, although they seem recent, need to be revised by the Host. Of the two coffee pods that the Host left, we used one and the second one didn't work anymore because the machine started to turn on a red light and it didn't work anymore, but we didn't report it either, we chose to drink coffee outside. The toaster and the microwave, as well as one of the hobs on the stove, show some problems, and there is no Book of Presentation and Rules of the house, also there aren't emergency contact's, first aid bag and fire extinguisher nor manuals for the features of household appliances translated into at least four languages.

We stayed here on a hot summer night and this was by far the warmest interior we've been in during our trip. At night the cooler air came in through the open windows and the sound of the raindrops on the open windows soothed us into sleep.
Stylish attic apartment, from the windows you can see the village and surrounding vineyards. Comfortable beds, and both bedrooms have their own bathrooms and toilets.
