We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomBooking.com is responsible for the poor scores. We were told we were staying Monday night; the hosts were told we were staying Tuesday night, so it was pure luck that Elisabeth was there when we arrived. We were told there was only one room available - a family room for three - when the whole place was empty and Elisabeth kindly let us have two rooms. Each room cost 65 Euros, yet we were charged 157 Euros for two rooms (the cost of the 'family' room). We had to pay extra for breakfast, so the whole bill came to 180 Euros.
Breakfast was lovely; accommodation was better than we expected.

United KingdomThe communal areas both inside and outside are lovely to look at and comfortable to be in. Our room with en-suite bathroom was clean and comfortable. The host was extremely helpful. The availability of a wide range of drinks was very nice. We opted for the breakfast that is available & it was delicious.

The host provided a delightful French breakfast with croissants, breads, fruit salad, yogurt, butter and jams. The coffee and juice were excellent. The location of 1,000 Delights is ideal at the edge of a specularly beautiful village with charming shops and wonderful restaurants. The property is on the river and has a lovely garden to look out to from our window. The sounds at night with croaking frogs and chirping birds was peaceful and restorative to sleep.

Family run hotel in a very cute village. There's an access (1 min down the stairs from the garden) to the river, which we enjoyed every evening after our days. Great small breakfast (extra pay) served in the garden. We would defenetiley recommend, and hope to come again!

SwitzerlandWe arrived at around 17:00pm just the check in time, there was no one around the B&B, no message from the host. We sat outside waited for some minutes thinking the host would arrive but no. We sent a message to the host, no answer initially, then decided to call; I am not there, your room is no.4 , 1st floor. We didn't meet the host at all, didn't feel welcome but rather like " intruders " to someone's house. Also we booked the accommodation as it says " air conditioning". In reality, there was none. So please update booking.com accordingly. We would avoid French B&B in the future if this is typical French B&B behavior.

We’ve stayed before in the B&B (next door), this time decided to book the house for two nights. Our stay was lovely, very relaxed and comfortable. The house is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped - Elizabeth has thought of everything! Beautiful garden areas with direct access to the river for a lovely walk. A few steps from the restaurants and shops. We will return to Lagrasse and Aux 1000 Delices.

CanadaWe could not open the window to cool off the room at night because we faced the main road through the village and it was too loud. So without air conditioning and 34C outside, it was a little too warm in the room. The stairs to access the rooms are steep and small. Watch out!
The breakfast was great as it was the right amount for the price and the fruit was fresh, the coffee okay, croissant fresh and all served in a very pretty setting.

U.S. Virgin IslandsShe needs to put proper railings on the spiral staircase and non slip adhesive tape on the stairs. I would not recommend it you can't climb tiny stairs The host was very nice. had a meltdown outside the property as I was so upset about the stairs and my husband safety.
We could not stay as there are no railings on the spiral stairway upstairs. I had asked for a room on the first floor. My husband has balance issues. The stairs are painted which makes them slippery. It is really dangerous. Not worth a visit to the emergency room. She was not around to tell her we could not stay. The pictures were not the same as the bedroom we got. The bed looked really lumpy. For the price I guess its ok. the reviews were great so we thought we would try it.
