Love the pool area and patio for breakfast

all was good if you are not on the budget and can spend a little more for the room do not book the downstairs room.

we booked the downstairs room ( did not know what does it mean at the time)but we did not like it. Staff said they have an upgraded room for a little extra euros. we took it, it was a good decision, room was a good size, quiet,has a little view. shower was good.

Bit steep to charge me for parking a small Vespa against a wall that didn’t actually use a parking space.

Location was perfect to explore the town, pool was great and the service was perfect.

Wish we could have stayed longer

Bright, warm and welcoming. Wonderful location. Staff are excellent. Highly recommended. Travel to Nice regularly and would happily stay at the Carlton from now on. A real find.

Beautiful building, nice lobby and bar/lounge area. Very comfortable beds, big bathroom. Great location just a block from the small town and a block from the beach. Nice pool area. Delicious breakfast (though a bit pricey).

Only downside was that the mattrace looks a bit like it should be changed but it did not affect my comfort. Also the typical issue everywhere on cote azure that in "cold season" air conditioning does not work, but from what I experienced all the hotels do that.

My experience is greatly impacted by the free upgrade I received at check in - thank you very much, which meant that I had a large room with nice views and great design style. I would stay here again and next time pay extra for that corner room on second floor. A lot of attention to details.

Nothing to dislike. This was a wonderful hotel that was one of the better stops on our trip. We found a lovely restaurant in the Casino nearby that was recommended and wished the hotel had been closer to the sea.

After finding this wonderful boutique hotel that was tucked away in a residential neighborhood, our car was promptly directed to a very suitable garage area where it remained for our stay at an extremely reasonable rate. This was a jewel that surprised us. Very pleasant surroundings, a fantastic breakfast, and a wonderful room that had a super comfy bed and a great, helpful staff. Good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing were the norm. Being in Beaulieu-sur-mer was super in and of itself.

Room views are not great, but that was a good reason to take a walk and explore.

Didn't have the breakfast...too busy going for walks and wandering Beaulieu Sur Mer. Room is very well furnished. Loved the bathrooms. We like this hotel enough to come back again when we were returning to Nice for the flight out. The walk ways that allow you to wander town were beautiful. We walked out to the town on the point. A stunning town that we didn't expect to be this cool. We ate a couple of evenings at the marina restaurants and were impressed by everywhere we ate. Staff was great. It was nice to have the little bar and social area. Fun!

It was not the first time ( guess already 6 times before) and also not the last time we where there. It was a beautiful hotel, but now since the new owner IT IS MORE STYLISH in every details. GREAT PLACE!

Great choice , but thought the three different breakfast categories was rather pedantic and unnecessary. Guests much prefer breakfast included with accommodation. If it is separate then only have breakfast or no breakfast. Then staff do not have to constantly look at what is being eaten.

Heating was on so the room temperature raised to 26c degrees, only way to cool down was to open windows.

Breakfast and location excellent, staff very nice and helpful. Lots of very good restaurants, train station, beaches and grocery stores near. Heated pool very nice!

The overuse of a perfumed cleaner...had to open windows to air out. Room smallish w/no view. View =+++$. Room keys while stylish, were huge & awkward . It's off the beaten path. $90euro taxi from bus station. Would be challenging to find renting a car.

Lovely hotel 2 blocks from the beach. Nice pool, friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of food & shopping within short walk. Beautiful, clean area.

Hotel Carlton in Beaulieu is a beautiful, very clean property. The pool area is great, but it also has close proximity to a gorgeous beach. It is actually a fabulous location. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good.

The noise from the youth center next door. Wish the keys were digital and easier to carry. Keys are heavy and are left with the front desk each time you leave the hotel. I often forget something in the room and felt bad asking the front desk for the key each time.

It was nice to be away from the noise & bustle of Nice, but yet a couple of stops from Nice and Monaco. The town had some good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Beware there is a youth center right next door that can get a bit noisy if your room faces it or you are by the pool. No fault of the hotel just a location challenge. The beds were super comfortable, large room, a large bathroom with a nice-sized bathtub/shower, good selection for breakfast at an extra charge. The pool area was very nice with bar service available. The beach is less than a 5-minute walk. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. The staff was great!
