The room was nice but very small, almost no place to walk in the main room. Especially in winter time if you have a thick/heavy jacket and thick sweaters with you, there was only 2 chairs to put all this belongings. It was hard to fit in winter time. Bathroom was fine. There was a kettle in the room, 2 tea and 2 coffee but room service did not replace them everyday.

Check in was easy and without any problem. A bottle of wine as a kind welcome present was a very nice detail. The hotel was very central. Room service was very good except coffee&tee replacement.

The bed and the cost

Room was small size, but cleaned. Location was comfortable to the main places in Paris, with a lot of restaurant and bistrot-brasserie around and shops. The breakfast was very homely, without any particular assortment. The staff have always been very welcoming and kind.

The location was amazing and the bed was quite comfortable. There were so many shops, restaurants, metro/bus, and attractions all in one neighbourhood.

We could see how there was potential character in warmer climate, but the courtyard was not well kept and very uninviting. Nothing was as it seemed in pictures. The beds were very uncomfortable.

The downstairs dining room area was cute.

Bathroom drains were clogged and tub was not working. Bathroom was always dirty since water backed up from the floor drains every time we used the sink.

The room itself was ok but looked a little tired.

Staff was excellent, very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Bathroom had been renovated and was lovely. Hotel is on a relatively quiet street, and has an elevator.

There was a stair in the room but the handrail was a bit broken so it was tough to go down to use bathroom middle of the night. The staff, a man, was not very friendly. When I got to the hotel with a huge suitcase, dying to get to the room, there was a paper on the front door, saying staff was not here at the moment, come back soon. It was 3pm ,already passed check in time. I pushed the inter phone but no answer. It seems like the staff was having lunch break. Wtf

The main issue was with one of the front desk staff. Do not know his name, he is a gentleman with a ponytail in his 50's. Issue 1 - we wanted to leave at the front desk a present for our friend who would come later to the hotel and pick it up. This person said the hotel did not do this due to covid restrictions, however a different friend of ours had a delivery made to the same hotel, which was left at the front desk for us to pick up and this was allowed. Very hypocritical. Issue 2- when checking out we were told that we needed to pay 15 euro city tax for 3 nights, which is normal. I wanted to pay in cash, but was told that only credit card payment is acceptable. When I asked "why only credit card" I was told "Because I said so". The communication stopped at that, I paid in cash and wished this person the bestest of days possible.

More variety in the breakfast room, after 6 days it got old (although quality was good). When I made the booking, received reply that our rooms would be off the courtyard and near each other. Neither was the case. Mattresses could be much better.

Great location, AC & complimentary bottle of wine in the room. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Although our rooms weren’t off the courtyard, it was open to all guests (although we weren’t told this until several days into our stay). We had a couple of nice snacks in the courtyard. Their connecting rooms aren’t truly connected, but it worked for our stay with 2 children.
