Could do with upgrading towels and pillows.

The best thing about this hotel is location - less than 10 mins walk from train station where also is a bus stop for airport shuttle. Very handy if you fly to Carcassonne and want to travel to Perpignan. It's also in the city Centre. Facilities are basic, but all is clean. Good value for many. Lady receptionist was lovely, insisted to carry one of my bags upstairs. I'd stay there again.

Hotel and rooms just looked a bit tired inside. It needs an increased measure of TLC.

Adequate for an overnight stay. Staff at front of house very welcoming and friendly. Room somewhat basic but functional and clean. Coded entry system was good. Short walk to many lovely Restaurants, Canal and Train Station.

Old building so a bit noisy but nothing much you can do about it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. The room was a nice size and the windows fitted with roller blinds. Working TV. Plenty of towels, soap and shampoo. Great value for money. Powerful flow of water in the shower.

No lift of course - but that was clearly stated and overcome by the desk staff who helped.

A single room! Hard to come by. The greeting was very pleasant from the person on the desk and helpful. The rooms are up several flights of stairs and he carried the luggage for us. The room is rather tired decor-wise -basic but clean and located where it was convenient to catch the airport shuttle = 5-10 minutes walk. Within reach of some good restaurants.

Our original booking at Hotel Central was changed to Hôtel de la Bastide and we were informed well in advance. This review is for Hôtel de la Bastide, which was a simple, straightforward hotel that made for a relaxing stay. Staff at reception were particularly good - helpful and cheerful.

For me the bed was too soft. Check in and out times are not convenient for the customer.

The location is good for the centre. The staff are very helpful and very friendly. They really helped me a lot. I would recommend this place just for the staff.

Excellent position of Hotel and fairly quiet even though just off a busy road and a busy restaurant below. Gentleman on reception was really friendly and helpful - a real credit to his employer. Very basic hotel in need of a bit of TLC and modernisation but for the price was great and would definately stay there again.

Staff were really friendly, the breakfast was very nice and the hotel was an easy walk to bars and restaurants in the shopping district and to the old city. It was good value for the price we paid.

I could only stay for 1 night and check in after 3pm. I could hear the people in the room next door.

The room was clean and the shower was good. The bed was comfortable and there was a table so that I could work. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. It was a great location, close to the station and the old town. Very nice area.

The facilities are basic - they have what you need but don't expect anything fancy (there was also no window in the bathroom which would've been nice but that's a personal preference). Breakfast was lovely but the options weren't particularly varied - however it is only a small establishment with limited staff so that is understandable.

The staff were truly lovely and very helpful - especially considering we can't speak the language. It was a nice surprise to see they offered breakfast and they even provided us with a map and diagrams as to what we could do and where we could eat.

I didn't have breakfast. The view from the room was lovely but the street was noisy. The air conditioning didn't seem to work. It was a very pleasant stay.

No lift might be an issue for some guests. No tea /coffee facilities in room or in commumal area other than at breakfast.

No food or drinks available in the evening. Access to coffee,tea and snacks would have been a real imprvement to the stay here.

Lovely staff, simple hotel in good location close to station, town centre, bars ans canal.
