The room was lovely , the whole place is in lovely surroundings and only a 10 minute drive to the arkea arena and Bordeaux! I love peace and quiet . The bed was very comfy and shower excellent. Purchased some of their wine after as we’d tried a 2018 bottle and it was lovely . Only 6.70e a bottle. So very happy.

I struggle to think of any adverse features.

The modern facilities, including decor and spacious rooms were perfect for our short stay. The location in this beautiful town was ideal and we were made very welcome by friendly staff. Our two meals, dinner and breakfast, were sufficient for our needs. The car park, virtually on site, proved to be a great advantage.

A common tv was available downstairs though without instructions on use.

Breakfast was basic but good..Room was large and comfortable though a bit dark. Alan was very helpful particularly over nonworking internet. Reasonably priced compared to in town hotels. In beautiful countryside/vineyard with Bordeaux accessible. Own car essential. Our dog was welcome!

nothing to note. tip would be that if you don’t have a car it can take a taxi/Uber sometime (book in advance).

unique experience staying on a chateau in the French countryside whilst still being close to the city. the rooms were spacious, clean, and had lovely views (light & bright). was a peaceful stay.

A stylish 18century wine chateau set in the vineyards with modern facilities. What’s not to like? A spacious comfortable room, a genial host more than happy to conduct a wine tasting, and an excellent breakfast.

I would have preferred to stay longer but was in transit to Paris. This is a great location to explore the Bordeaux wine region.

Chateau Senailhac is a very relaxing place with large beautiful landscape that is surrounded by vineyard. The hosts are very helpful and the entire atmosphere ensured a relaxing and very comfortable stay.

    Taxi to chateaux expensive.

Chateaux Senailhac provided an excellent location to explore Bordeaux city and region Monsieur Allain provided us with the information for the local Metro Tram A Route park & ride from Buttiniere to Bordeaux. (Ticket Pays for tram and parking). Chateaux rooms large and comfy, kitchen available to prepare evening meal/lunch if required. Wine tour available and purchase from the cellar.
