Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

One day cleaning was not finished properly: garbage bag was left at the sink area, one towel was missing and there was no soap at all at the sink…

Room door very loose and all noise was heard inside. Room size bit to small but this is not huge issue if you just sleeping there.
Perfect location for short city brake. Very friendly staff, beds are comfortable.

during the second night of our stay there was a lot of noise coming from outside our room in the hall way. very difficult to sleep had to wait for it to stop

I did not really have any issues with the hotel.
I really liked our room. It was really comfortable. The location of the hotel is also brilliant. All the staff members are really kind and helpful. If I would go again I would stay in this hotel.

Just pay attention when you make the booking because the breakfast is included only for one guest.
Clean, nice location, and very helpful and friendly staff. WiFi fast and reliable. The staff is great, they helped us arrange transportation to the airport. They are very friendly, morning and night which is appreciated after travelling around all day. The location of the hotel is very good. Just few mins walk from George V Metro station and small walking distance to Champs-Élysées.

The breakfast was very poor, no varieties, there was no complimentary water in the room, there was a problem with the key cards for one day ( the cards were not specific for one room but they were opening different doors), the staff worked on the problem as soon as they knew and they have controlled the situation
The location was very good and the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly

Nice located Hotel, in a very quiet backroad close to the Arc de Triomphe. Perfect location for a trip to the Arc wrapped by Christo. Especially the rooms to the patio are very quiet. The Hotel is well equipped and in proper condition. The breakfast is complete and tasty. The team is very friendly and helpful. We will come back.

difficult to find because theres some renovation/construction being done in the building next to it, the lighting in the room was a bit to dark for me and only one tv channel in english.
the staff was really friendly. they stored my bags after check out. room was clean and good size. the best was the location.. next to a supermarket(monoprix), metro station (george v) and the champs elysee!

Very good location, pleasant staff. Clean. Good rooms. I like the view on the Eiffel Tower. 5 minutes walk to the Metro, to the Triumph Arch. 10 minutes walk to the Rer A train to go to Disneyland. I love this place

The carpets were dirty and the room very small. The bathroom was also tiny. The corridor to your room is very dark and scary.

room very small for the value paid. Wife joined the last two days out of the 5 days and i had to pay the additional breakfast for the full 5 days. Something small but unfair.

We could hear people from another room Talking clearly….so I hope you can work on it

I wish i knew it’s old and mistakenly I booked non refundable other wise not staying. Doors smashed everywhere and noises can’t sleep
As I understand from the hotel manager it’s going to renovate the all hotel.
