The location is perfect you can take loads of buses and metro stations are very close you can also walk to the main areas if you wish. Staff is very friendly and polite. For a short stay in Paris is very convenient.

No kettle provided in the room. This is necessity. Air conditioned is not self controlled. We have to call the receiption counter to switch on or switch off the air cond.

Quite warm throughout the property and needed to lug our big case down the stairs when the lift was full of cleaning equipment.

Check in time was a bit late at the one near Gare Montparnasse you could check in from midday.

We had 3 people staying in our room, the 3rd bed was not set up. We had to go to reception and staff did set it up. The room was not very clean, and we asked for more pillows and towels and never received any. The location is great for getting on and off the metro, but felt a little unsafe at night especially for a group of woman.

The breakfast was really nice, most of the staff were helpful.

Corridor carpets and stairs could do with more attention ie some areas dusty , carpets renewed. This would make a much better first impression. Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Very good location for those travelling from Gare du Nord. Room basic but clean and comfortable with good sized bathroom. Staff pleasant and helpful. Lots of eating places nearby.

In July there has been refurbishment of hotel and it seems it will be running for some time, so expect some noise during a day. We had a big bucket of paint left in our room :) but it is not a big problem really. The lift is a biy scary

Perfect location if you take Eurostar or any other trains across France. The room was good and spacious. Shower obviously was recently refurbished and really good. Aircon working but it wasn't too hot to assess it. The bed is great

The room was one of the smallest I ever had, just about 40 cm around the bed, and a tiny bathroom, but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable and big enough, and I am aware that space is very limited in Paris, so thin is not really a complaint, just stating a fact.

We use Ibis hotels regularly, because we know what to expect. This is the first time we stayed at the Ibis TGV, the reason being that it is just in front of the Gare du Nord. The rooms are always small in Paris, this one was quite small, but then again, it had everything we needed in terms of equipment. The hotel is newly refurbished, so it's clean, everything works well, plenty of plugs; thy changed our towels and cups every day, even though we did not ask for that specifically. The staff is excellent, very polite, friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is on a main road, and there is plenty of traffic, the windows are double glazed and you cannot hear much of the hustle and bustle going down on the street - I am light sleeper, and always carry ear plugs with me, but I found the level of noise quite bearable. The price is higher here because of the location, but, of course, I find this absolutely normal. The hotel is very close to amazing pastry shops and restaurants, but also offers their own breakfast if you wish - plenty to choose from. Overall, great stay, just as I expected, would go back there.
