Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomPillow situation, only two small ones… barely suitable for a single person let alone two. More pillows would make room better - other than that stay was very pleasant
Location was great, room was a good size

ArgentinaThe first night at 4:30 am we had to get out of the hotel because of the fire alarm. It was just the hot water of a kettle. The following day we ask for big towels at the desk and they didn’t give us because the man at the desk say he was only for security. He didn’t solve our request. We had to wait till the following day and ask for the towels to the lady in charge of cleaning the room. We expected a better service.

United States of AmericaThe shower is a bit small. I'm only 5'3 so I'm not a tall person and even for me it was tight. It can't be helped and I would still stay here again despite of it. Just something to keep in mind. Another thing was that the particular room I was in had a slanted ceiling that came down pretty low. There were many times when I would hit my head on the low beams. That was rather inconvenient.
I like that the location was near several ethnic restaurants. The indicated Nice's ethnic diversity and it was fun to walk around and discover. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There is also a housecleaning service so if you need replacement towels or anything that it is available. The room was quaint and comfortable, perfect for one person and I'm really happy with the room I got for the price and the four nights I stayed.

AustraliaThe shower head is propped on the taps, there is no holder that can be reached by most people and it’s very tricky to open a sachet of shower gel while holding the shower head without getting water everywhere. Would be great to have a shower head holder as well as a small shelf to put shampoo etc in the shower.
Fantastic value for money, great location, lovely staff. The room was big with a small balcony and nicely decorated. Bed was really comfortable. Overall, hotel and area felt very safe for solo female traveller.

UkraineI asked to clean the dining table which was sticky and we didn't use it as we can't clean it by ourselves obviously because of lack of things with cleaning. We had a smell of smoke, possibly from ventilation I didn't understand, but it was a temporary.
The location is realy nice, close to the train station and public transport, walking distance to the seaside. Spacious room with side tables and dining table, TV and separate bathroom is handy.

United States of AmericaThe facilities and amenities are alright. You certainly get what you expect for paying a cheap cost. The bed was not the most comfortable, but not the worst.
The location is very close to the shopping district and the train station, so it was a nice, easy walk to the beach. The location was relatively quiet despite being so near noisy locations.

UkraineThe administrator could not find the reservation by my name/passport or booking number on booking.com, although I had a confirmation and a deposit of 50 euros. What worked was that I entered the guest's name during registration - for some reason, the information was saved in her name which made me a little nervous. Also, don't wear white socks - the floor was dirty, there were crumbs on some of the shelves, and it's better not to move the windowsills at all. The lock does not close from the inside, it gets stuck. We lived in room 502 on the top floor: it's funny, but the first morning we waited for the elevator for 12 minutes (the stairs were not found).
Convenient location, nearby a good brunch place Le Kawa, train station, tram, embankment and central avenues, shops, and cafes.

RomaniaThe window was not working properly. There was no actual cleaning of the room or the maid did not do the job properly. The smell in the bathroom was horrible, the toilet was old and had not been properly cleaned in ages. There was mold in the bathroom. Some of the sheets had stains on them.
The location is good. It is easy to reach it from the airport. The train station is close by. The area is lively and it offers good transportation and lots of places to get food including a supermarket 20 m away. The staff was incredibly nice and helpfull.
