Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe family suite is accessible by a very small elevator two people max so sometimes the at added our commute when under a time crunch. The room got quite hot at night and I couldn’t figure out the temperature controls but I didn’t ask for help. The windows let in the night air when I needed
The location was not only central but also safe, convenient to metro, interesting shops and varied dining options. Wonderful thevinin bakery and city pharma 5 minutes walk! We stayed in the family suite and appreciated the unique 2 bedroom split at a great value. This would be perfect accomodation for parents and children. The front desk staff was very helpful with advice and coca-colas. The internet was easy to use and fast.

United KingdomBreakfast service could be better. We came for breakfast to find the scrambled eggs finished, and it took a while to get a new batch ready. Also you can't pour your own tea or coffee, which also makes you rely on staff to bring you hot water for tea or to bring coffee. So make sure you allow enough time for breakfast as the room is rather small and there might be delays in service. Also some rooms are not accessible via lift, and the stairs twist and turn so one has to be careful.
This is a nice hotel in the centre of Paris, you can walk to Louvre across the river easily. Paris hotels are notoriously expensive for what they offer, but this one was reasonably priced compared to some other (similar) options in the area. The bedroom was a decent size, as, again, some of the rooms in hotels are ridiculously small. This was not the case here. Breakfast was OK, although service could be better there.

Great location, super friendly staff - they offered free breakfast as the hotel exterior was being renovated (but I didn't hear a thing during the 2 nights I was there, rather got some cool photos of the old sign just outside my window). Very clean and comfortable and decent room size for Paris (have previously stayed in real shoe boxes).

IrelandLight switch in bedroom on one side of bed didn’t work so couldn’t turn it on during the night. Bathroom had step up into it which was awkward and no lock inside the door. Door to room hit off glass table when you entered and one side of bed had drawer unit with couple of inches to squeeze past but we managed. Staff were so nice it didn’t seem worth making a fuss. And we were upgraded on arrival due to renovations taking place so it was all fine.
Breakfast was lovely. Lots of food service was amazing Staff were all friendly and helpful Room was small but what was expected for central Paris. Room was lovely and warm. Some renovations going on so it was a bit noisy and scaffolding outside the front of the building in front of our room.

NetherlandsThe toilet and the bathroom were different than the room pictures. While I can understand that not every room is precisely the same, but it would have been nice to know in advance that the toilet was in a closet with no ventilation :)
Locations is great, all the pubs restaurans of st germain area are walking distance and subway/bus station are just 3 minutes away. extremely welcoming staff. Rooms were clean, big enough and quite comfortable. I believe this place deserve more than 8.1 rating.

NetherlandsThe rooms were small and the toilet room was so small that we hit our knees on the walls when sitting on the toilet (we are both 6 foot tall) and the toilet room had no ventilation (stinky). The room was really too hot on a winter day so we did have to ask for a fan and open the window due to not being able to control the central air.
The location was excellent. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were helpful and friendly.
