We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

MoroccoI booked a room for 2people. In the end it was just me alone spending two nights there. The room was changed into one with a small bed and also towards the main road, which in fact is really noisy at night - a downgrade one could say.. but the price stayed the same althought i discussed about it. The room smelled like cigarettes smoke. The toilette is really one the other side of the floor..
It has its own vintage charme :) Everything is really small somehow . And if u really dont expect any comfort its very reasonable to stay there. There is no ventilator in the room which would be really a nice little investment for summernights ...

GreeceThe building is very old and stinky and there is no elevator. The toilets were dirty and smelly. We could hear everything that was happening on the corridor. It's far from the old town.

GermanyIm used to budget hotels and dont have super high expectations regarding cleanliness. But I had really problems with the state of the bathroom and the walls overall. Strong smell of mothballs or something. The remote control had no batteries (just realized it on night two, when staff was gone). didnt have WLAN passwort in my room, got it from neighbours, but WLAN didnt work at all. The fotos look much better (simple but clean) than the actual place.
The location was nice. The staff very friendly, when around.

United KingdomI stayed at L’hôtel des Facultés on the 17th August (I was in room 15) and the room was BED BUG INFESTED!! Unfortunately the bed bugs came home with me without realising!!!! It is costing a lot of money to put right. Not only have I chucked out my mattress, ruined clothes washed at high heat to kill the bed bugs but I am worried it’s all over the house now too. :( This has never happened to me before. I am disgusted! The thing is, when I called nearly 2 weeks later, staff made inadequate attempts to treat the room. Sounds like they DIYed it rather than getting professionals to thoroughly decontaminate the room at source. Hence why it isn’t just my review complaining about the same issue. It isn’t being resolved. So save your money and avoid this place!!! I didn’t use the communal shower- didn’t want to take the risk, it was so grimey. Toilet was just about usable. I’ve smelt better smelling public toilets). The hallway and stairs were grimey and there was a strong smell of cigarettes and urine. Not proper bedding- no duvet, just 2 blankets (I think i know why now… bed bugs) but you would expect a well done bed from any hotel regardless of the price! Couldn’t connect to free wifi. No staff available at reception after 7pm. WISH I HAD READ ALL THE COMMENTS BEFORE STAYING HERE! :( It was my worst hotel experience ever. I had to leave a review because I don’t want anyone else to suffer from the hotel’s lack of care and therefore their disregard for public safety. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
