Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The outside is a bit scruffy but it seems that is a work in progress, so soon to be resolved we're sure.
We were welcomed and given time with staff. Our room was all we needed for a short stay and the bed was huge and comfortable, a must for us when we're on the road. The food was first rate and we would certainly recommend anyone staying.

Meagre tea/coffee/sugar/milk available in room (why one madeline for 2 people?🤣). Location was a bit difficult when driving in from the west.
Excellent book in, reception open 24hrs, receptionist spoke English and was very helpful. Room was very clean. Food that was available on Saturday night was good quality but very limited choice. Didn't chose to have breakfast as it was very expensive at 15 euros per person. Free Parking on site was very good.

The only issue was the toilet door did not lock. Minor issue.
The room was a good size, comfy bed and good heating system, good size shower, separate toilet, The only issue was the door did not lock. The staff were all very welcoming and offered excellent service. We ate from the bar menu as well as in the restaurant all the food was good with a bonus choice of nice specials on offer.

Not the best ventilation in the room, but for one night it was perfectly ok.

The WiFi was non existent. Despite complaints and attempts in setting us up on business accounts, we could not work or access our email. We could have used more than one towel.
The room was great, very clean and well appointed. Comfortable bed and climate friendly bathroom and facilities. The breakfast was amazing. It was compact, well located, and offered a vast variety of items, all of which were fresh and highly enjoyable. The coffee was very good and the freshly squeezed orange juice a wonderful plus.

Convenient location great for a stop driving home from Spain. Plenty of secure parking, staff are particularly warm and helpful, very pleased I chose here. Will use again

Excellent example of how you should be treated as a customer. Room although we were switched, because of air-conditioning fault. The alternative was quickly dealt with.

We traveled as a family of 3. The hotel didn't inform Booking.com about the availability of rooms for 3 people and Booking.com forced me to purchase 2 rooms. Upon check-in, it turned out that we can live in the same room without any problems. Refused the second room and expect a refund.
As for me, this is a good place to stop for the night on the way to or from Paris. Very nice people at the reception who are ready to help in any way.

Restaurant opening times are very limited. Breakfast was a little expensive although they did hot food unlike most others.
Hotel was by far the best of the ones we stayed at while traveling south. Really nicely decorated with a nice feeling about it. Staff nice and spoke English when it was clear our French wasn't up to scratch.
