Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsAll good
The location couldn't have been better, just a two-minute walk from the lifts, making it incredibly convenient for skiing or snowboarding enthusiasts. The staff were friendly and accommodating, we are traveling with my dog and the hotel was pet-friendly. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient spot in the

NetherlandsThe safe was not working had to call 2/3 times a day to have it fixed, only solution they provided was to use the safe and the frontdesk. Safe was finally fixed on our last day.
Location was great, near to 1850. Room was big and clean, nice view from the balcony.

United KingdomThere is no lift in the property - with 3 floors down it is quite difficult to carry all the luggages. Also there is this persistent smell of sewage in the corridor and the room, especially in the Bathroom. We had to keep the Bathroom door closed to make sure no smell was coming into the room. I think the pipework should be looked at. No parking at the property so be aware that you will have to pay for the nearby parking.
The breakfast was a limited choice. Everyday there was a choice of scramble eggs and small sausages as a hot option - after 8 days it is getting boring. Few cheeses/ salami and sweet options. Otherwise I think it was a good value for money - very close to the lift, shops, few restaurants. On-site restaurant Henri is where the breakfast is served and where you can go for a nice evening meal. Very warm in the rooms which was easy to adjust by the radiator valves. Room was rather small: with two luggages, ski clothes and a dog, there was no spare space in the room.

The hotel is well located, a walking distance from the ski lifts. The staff is nice and room size is relatively okay

United States of AmericaI have to say, the rooms were the worst we have stayed in and I have travelled to over 60 countries. The smell in the entry way and the smell in the rooms was nauseating and it smelled like sewer for the entire 7 days we were there. It was hard to sleep at night and due to it we are all sick now. We had booked three rooms as we had kids with us. We asked several times to give us some sort of candles or air fresheners but nothing was done in all three rooms. Also, when we made the reservation, there was no indication that all the hotel rooms are three floors down practically in the basement. By the time you get to your rooms, you get sick from the smell. Then once you are in your room, the odor from the shower and bathroom which are separate, is so unbearable that you have to open the windows constantly and in the winter it gets too cold at night to stay with the windows open. The building inspector should close the hotel down. No one should be allowed to stay there until the sewer smell problem is fixed. We asked other guests and they said the same thing that the smell was unbearable and they were not aware that the hotel's rooms were in the basement. Also for people that have mobility issues, there is no elevator. No one helps with luggage. Luckily we were able to do it on our own, but for elderly people or those that cannot carry heavy bags, it will be hard to go up three flights of stairs. There is no lobby to hang out and even if there was one, the smell would be unbearable. We practically left the hotel early in the morning to ski and didn't want to come back until we had to and it was dreadful to sleep there. The only good thing about the hotel was the location which was very convenient to the ski lift, bus, main street, restaurants. But the odor was traumatic. We looked for other hotels to transfer but everything was booked for that week and had to bear sleeping there.

United KingdomFood was poor from restaurant, uncooked food on a couple of occasions served to us and a very long wait. Awful smelling corridor, perhaps asking people to remove wet ski boots before entering would help. Balcony was not great.. no partition between rooms or furniture so impossible to enjoy the outside space.
Great location moments from the 1650 slopes. Nice decor of the rooms and very comfortable bed. Cleaning team were amazing!
