Breakfast in the restaurant was overly expensive and not value for money. Otherwise food costs were reasonable.

The duplex room was not well thought out. The upstairs had a bathtub only with no shower. There should have been both. There was no toilet upstairs which is a terrible oversight. Having to go downstairs in the middle of the night was a big minus. The coffee machine malfunctioned and more upscale and better coffee should be standard for this kind of hotel. This is the most expensive room offered and was not worth the price. The TV programming should include English stations .

The waiters at the lunch restaurant were not super nice and the same for the front desk staff. Minus a couple of staff who went above and beyond - the manager and also the valet Charlie were super helpful!

Asked for the hotel to do a couple of loads of laundry. It was our mistake not to ask the cost but also, this was not volunteered by the hotel. 200 Euros for the laundry was staggeringly expensive. It was good value for money given the quality of the hotel until we got the bill for the laundry.

Great hotel on the river across from the town of Blois. The room was very comfortable and the spa was wonderful. We ate in the Amour Blanc restaurant and the food was delicious. The gym was good for cardio but could have done with some free weights.

There was nothing to dislike, however if there was any area that did not reach the same high levels as everything else, it was the service in the bar as it appeared to be understaffed.

Amazing reception staff and incredible property. The external historic charm of the property was restored beautifully and communal and bedrooms meticulously incorporating a contemporary feel with seamless sympathetic integration.

The 26 year old sommelier in the restaurant was a condescending jerk who seemed to go out if his way to make us uncomfortable. But the food was superb and the rest of the staff top rate.

Servjces are way overpriced. The spa was understaffed no towels were available and we had to constantly search for someone to give us towels. The breakfast was good but we had rotten watermelon once and on another day the coffee was undrinkable which is a big shame for a place like this where you expect impeccable service.

There is no shower closet and worse the bathtub also doesn't have a rain shower. So using the handshower results in the entire bathroom gettimg wet when u shower. Very poorly designed bathroom.
