United KingdomI stayed in a room which was close to the kitchen ventilation hood and it was very noisy. They turn it on 16:00 and turn off 22:00 every day. Staff is helpful and friendly however struggle to communicate in English sometimes. Breakfast was very basic and repetitive every day. Coffee from the coffee machine was not good and it was broken in one day with no other options provided.

AustraliaThe hotel did not have a/con nor a fan, and as it was a very hot/humid day, it was a little difficult as there were no screens on the windows, so you couldn't open them either. However, this seems to be a problem all over Europe, a problem that will need to be addressed with temperatures continuously rising over the summer season. Also, as this was a resort type hotel, we found the towel quality and provision a little inferior. That is, the towels were so thin and rough, we thought what a pity that they skimped on this item, as it detracts from the rest of the resort quality.
We made the booking at the last minute and found the hotel is located in a lovely quiet area on a lake. So peaceful!!! The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, and clean. The restaurant was really wonderful, and we enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the lake whilst having our delicious meal over a nice glass of wine. Very serene and just what we needed after a long drive!! The staff were very attentive and friendly. Parking was at the hotel and free, which was great! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a peaceful setting, and comfortable room.

I stayed obernight on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed, so it was very quiet. Not really a good test of the property and its staff. It is beautifully designed and furnished and in a great setting. A good base if you are planning to visit Moselle vinyards.

Also, we were there with our dog, but it doesn’t seem like anyone picks up their poop by the lake while walking… also would suggest a few trash cans along the garden so people are triggered to collect and throw away the poop. otherwise a great place to stay !

United KingdomDisgraceful checkin, booked and paid for junior suite on top floor was given standard room on ground floor, went to room but quickly returned to reception to question why, was told junior suites are for family’s, but I explained I paid the same as a family would, it’s my choice I’m alone, reception then said they gave me that room because it’s cooler! I said I want what I paid for please was then given junior suite on top floor that I booked. Quality of junior suite is poor though, pics of carpet below. Another guest was at reception paid for suite got std room. Staff in the hotel especially the restaurant are absolutely terrible, surly, ignorant and unprofessional sums up front of house in restaurant, chef is so badly let down working here! Ordered Cold bottle mineral water, got room temp water Ordered white wine, never arrived Main course was excellent Ask for desert menu never arrived, ask waiter again, he said he forgot, but it still never arrived even after that, so gave up. Owner of hotel was sitting at next table, and could surely see how poor service was, not just for me, but everyone, but not interested in rectifying, was drinking his beer! See housekeeping on my leaving, said morning/bonjour barely got a grunt back, serious attitude problems at this hotel. Check out next morning, young lady was probably the best member of staff I encountered at this place, she was efficient and professional, she even translated the lack of service and the room debacle to the director of hotel, who was not surprised and confirmed hotel is having awful staffing issues, this was later confirmed by owner too on my exit. Chef and the check out young lady would be better to look for alternative employment in my opinion, because they are sadly let down from top to bottom in this establishment. Must be one of the worse I have encountered collectively, which is a shame because could be nice hotel, ok it’s dated, (1990s junior suite) but service is deplorable.

Did not pre-order dinner or breakfast the next day, no trouble having both ordered when arriving. Speaking of dinner: very well presented and exquisite taste (you should try the cheeseburger). Breakfast also on par with 4-star hotels. The hotel lies in the middle of nowhere, next to a fishing pond (I think). Very quiet place (in the hotel, also - good sound isolation).
