Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

No kettle, refrigerator, washine machine, cups, cutlery, microwave not working. The walkway from metro is dirty, and there are homeless in the way Need to put the linen by you own.
The staff at reception is very friendly, can solve our problem immediately. Locker with self payment is provided. Sink in the room, password lock.

It is budget hotel nearby Paris, the size just nice for 2 pax and short stay
The hotel staff are friendly and responsive to our request, even at early 4am. Basic breakfast provided is good, we are enjoy it

The location is not so good if you are on foot and going to the metro, there are some sketchy parts you have to go through.
The room was very clean. There is a sink in the room so you don't need to go to the shared bathroom every time.

The room is tiny, and if it's on the roadside, it will always be very noisy, even with the closed window. The place is surrounded by suspicious people, some under substances. On the other side, people live in cars with an outstanding smell.

The only negative thing about my stay here was how loud the other guests were during the night on our floor.
The hotel was very easy to reach via public transport and the staff was really friendly. The room was also cleaned every day and the bathroom facilities were always clean. This hotel is great value for money and i would highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to stay in Paris on a budget.

Two-bed room but only one chair :D Neighbourhood is not the best (the public transport is very close though so you don't have to stay there long).
Very comfortable bed. small but has everything you need in a room. Sink and a good mirror in the room. Common bathroom always clean.

The only unpleasant experience I had is when I was checking in, the receptionist (a lady) who was suppose to help me suddenly just spoke to a French guy queue behind me, dealing his before mine was completed. I found that a little rude. However other staffs are really nice and helpful, very grateful for them.
The Cabrio room which is a double bed ensuite is actually pretty nice for 2 people, the towels and shower gels are provided, unlike what I saw on comments. Although the room and toilet are both pretty narrow, but I would say it was worth the money.

The bed itself was fine, but the pillows were awful, requiring being folded over to feel at all comfortable or supportive, and the sheet on top was very thin. The neighbourhood was not the safest. We had to walk through a pop up market to get to the hotel our first day, and items were left all over the streets, with city workers coming to use a hose to clear it away after. It was not the best first impression of the area.
The room was a good size. The bathroom was a bit small but had good water pressure. The location was fairly convenient, walking distance to the metro.

The shared bathroom should be cleaned more often for this many people. We used our dezinfection so we could survive. We tried to use it as least as possible, as it used to get really dirty, but that's the case when you try to save some money when traveling. :)
For this price, hotel is more than good. Considering that we just used it for a sleeping time, it met our expectqtions. Location is in a bit "homeless" part of the city but we didn't have any problems. Metro and bus can also be easily reached. Breakfast was every day the same, and not much of the options, but it was okay since it had fresh coffee and juice.

The toilet is not inside. There were no drinking water in the room. Toilet and bathroom is not properly managed. Toilet light has issue till my whole stay.

The neighborhood was sketchy and felt unsafe. The shared bathrooms and toilets were dirty and smelly, it was difficult to find a decent toilet or shower cabin.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. From the window you could see Sacré Cœur and the Eiffel Tower, which was a nice surprise. The hotel is only a short walk away from metro line 13.

Distance to majority of central paris is quite far and the surrounding area wasn’t the best but still full of character. Rooms are quite small and the water pressure wasn’t fantastic
