We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomUnfortunately on check in we were informed the restaurant was closed necessitating driving into Chartres to find dinner. We didn’t want to have to do this after 8hrs travelling and with a dog.
We always stay here on our journey from the South of France. It’s a perfect location with a lovely Bistro.

FranceNo restaurant ! I had emailed re the restaurant but did not receive a response. When challenged the receptionist said they had a problem with Booking.com emails. How am I supposed to know that ? I did not see any mention of the restaurant being closed when I booked. Rooms looking a little in need of a revamp. Scuff marks in the bathroom, curtains coming off their rail, carpet a little worn, etc.
Location is excellent though the signs to it seemed to have disappeared. Good job we had visited before ! Bed very comfortable.

United KingdomThe hotel itself is pretty shabby and in a serious need of a refurbishment. This is why it didn't meet my expectations. However, to be fair our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I believe it is going to be upgraded next year.
The hotel is well sign posted and easy to find. The car parking was great. The staff were without exception very helpful and pleasant 10/10. The evening meal and breakfast were both of good quality. The restaurant is very good.

I booked the room at 19.30 in the evening, and we could stay there the same night. The people at reception were great, spoke English and we even could have dinner there that evening. I also liked the big and free parking space. Breakfast was fine, the room was fine and the overall service was fine.
