The room we had was on the top floor, and into the eaves of the building. Therefore the room was really cramped, it was difficult to walk around the bed and I couldn't stand up straight in quite a bit of the room. Because there was hardly any space in the room anyway, this made it feel extra cramped.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The room was clean and public areas were clean. Despite being in the centre on a busy street, it was quiet in the room.

The beds were noisy, and there was a lot of ambient noise in the hotel. You could hear doors closing and people talking in the hallway. Overall, the hotel is a bit old and it could use some freshness here an there.

The staff were very friendly and polite, we asked to have a thermos filled with warm water and they were happy to help. The location is close to all the activities and museums in town, you can walk everywhere which is nice. The room had a little balcony with view of the street, which we were able to appreciate.

Very small rooms Exceptionally noisy, starting within the hotel at 5am. Very badly insulated from noise, you could hear everything inside the building starting up for the day. Breakfast was adequate but the good layout was cramped and the room was too small for a comfortable sitting.

Small room- but that’s to be expected in a city property I guess. Bed isn’t the most comfortable and the property needs a refurb, but I believe this is happening soon. It’s ok for 2 or 3 nights but any longer and I’d look for a little more comfort. Hope the refurb is a success as it could be a fantastic property.

Great central location, short walk from the Eurostar and train station. Wonderful for shopping and sight seeing. Staff are great, you’ll see other comments about lack of tea/coffee making facilities but just ask and you can have a kettle.

Only one thing was annoying, the sound of the water heater with boiling water was on all night.

Location was amazing, right in the center and reaching all the attractions, restaurants and shopping areas. The room size was good since we were not looking for a suite to stay in all day. Just the perfect space.
