Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandWould be nice to have coffee making facilities in room.
Staff very friendly, excellent location, rooms were small but comfortable. I've stayed in much smaller rooms in Paris. Breakfast was good too. It's quiet too as located on a small street.

FranceThe room starts to look a bit old and the decoration in the corridors is quite... unusual.

United KingdomLack of space. Entrance passageway to our room was through 2 sides which opened towards each other. It was difficult to negotiate even without suitcases! City centre hotel in an old building so rooms can feel cramped. The shower leaked a lot at the base so the bathroom floor and mat were wet.
Very good breakfast. Comfortable beds.

BelgiumHowever the room were pretty small with no fridges. There isn’t a restaurant in the hotel, so you always have to go elsewhere or order from Uber eats besides from breakfast. Lastly, the elevator was questionable, everytime I was in it, it felt like it was about to drop.
The staff was really superb! Great welcome, for my every need they provided great assistance. The breakfast was really good too and we had access to free croissants, “pain au chocolat”, tea and coffee in the lobby all day long. Moreover, a water fountain was at our disposal 24h/7 in the lobby too!

United KingdomAlthough it was only for 1 night the standard room is quite small if you were staying longer it would be advisable to book a bigger room. Breakfast was very good, cereals with a variety of milks, fresh breads, danish/ cakes, pancakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, variety of teas and coffee’s.
The staff were extremely helpful booking a taxi for us, they also helped my son and daughter-in-law who were not staying at the hotel book a taxi to the airport as they were struggling to find one to take them with a baby, pram, and suitcases.

FranceOur bathroom was extremely cold, the heating was provided by a small wall mounted heater and it wasn’t sufficient to heat the bathroom. In addition, we specifically chose the Ibis because they accept dogs in the hotel. However, they did not allow our dog to stay in the breakfast area. We therefore chose not to eat breakfast in the hotel. This was very frustrating, if our dog is allowed in a bedroom then why not the breakfast area. It cannot be a question of hygiene because our dog is accepted in many restaurants in Nantes. It is simply a bad decision by the hotel owners. They need to learn quickly from their mistake and accept dogs at the breakfast tables. Children are accepted, yet they are often very badly behaved.
Location was excellent, the room was adequate for our needs

ItalyThe staff looks distracted, and sometimes they are not very helpful. I had the impression they just do what they have to, without trying to deliver an excellent service. They are often chatting among themselves as if they were hanging out with friends and guests were not there.
The hotel is right in the center and it looks quite nice.

United States of AmericaThe small room was fine but check out the bathroom configuration to ensure it is large enough to get into the shower and to get to the toilet. Some can be a bit small for larger people.
