Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MaltaThere is no service - the rooms are not being cleaned daily, there is no telephone, no room service and the restaurants are not serving food all the day.
The tropical garden and the location. It feels like the resort is in Bali.

United KingdomThis is a bit of a strange one, but I'm sure we are not alone. The chairs in the chalet are of a design whereby the legs come out proud of the chair itself. We were forever tripping over the legs of the chairs. All of us, from 2 year olds to 82 year olds.
The location is simply fabulous. The beach is broad and sandy. The beach restaurant and other services are fantastic. The kids loved riding their bikes in safety, exploring, the games room, table tennis, swimming, basketball. Saint Tropez itself is only a 10 minute car journey away. The gardening staff work around the clock to make everything look very pleasant at all times.

United States of AmericaNothing really. We wished we had more time to spend there as it seemed like a relaxing place.
This is a cute little resort best for a one-week stay with children. We stayed at this type of place when the kids were 12 (they are now 19) and it was awesome. Kon Tiki is really a village, where you sleep in huts, and walk to everything you need within Kon Tiki (restaurants, beach, laundry, pool, entertainment, etc.) You do not have to leave. Unfortunately, we were looking for a one-night hotel room close to St. Tropez and I did not read carefully. It is a drive from St. Tropez. Because of this, we changed our plans and stayed on property for dinner/nightly entertainment. Dinner was pretty expensive but it was good and the bar scene was good for one night. We didn't get to stay on the beach at all but it seemed nice when we went down there in the one evening we were there.

IrelandThe smell of the cabin was very strong and quite unpleasant. When we tried to open up some doors and windows we ended up letting in bugs which also wasn't ideal. The staff at the spa were also quite rude. My partner and I entered and asked if we could sit anywhere, the lady working there said "well only if you are paying you can" which was quite rude in my opinion. Of course payment was not an issue but certainly would have left a better taste if she explained that of course we can sit anywhere, we will have table service etc and that there is a fee in association to that, however this was not the way it was handled. On this trip we stayed in 3 other hotels all of which provided a significantly better experience for less money.
The cabin was a good size. There were some basic cooking utensils if you wanted to cook there. Also had outdoor seating which was nice.

United KingdomPool is sub-standard, too far from main site/beach and not child friendly - steps and no shade. Babyland has no shade at all. Evenings can get noisy - the chalets should keep the families away from the single folks who often party late outside the bungalow. Had to pay for WIFI and to borrow a nespresso machine, this is after paying 350Euros a night to stay
close to beach, good supermarket on-site
