It was a great location, the owners were very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and visit. The breakfast was great. The accomodation had a lot of character with a balcony and sitting rooms to enjoy.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Love the location, only a few steps away from a lovely little square where our favorite restaurant in Avignon is located (Le Coin Cache)-so glad the owners recommended this place. The B and B is quaint and beautifully decorated. Our beds were made everyday, and we very much appreciated the free water bottles provided everyday. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning (loved the yogurt!). Highly recommend this place!

Bathroom was small but ok. However the liquid soap/shampoo provided daily was too few. Also no shelf to place the small soap flasks meaning had to be placed every time in the shower floor.

Stairs are very steep but that's the way they are! Not a problem.

The hosts were so welcoming and spent a fair amount of time providing suggestions on things to do, restaurants, etc. The location was fantastic -- just open the door and we were in wonderful old streets. And, my friend and I had a fabulous room with lots of space!

La Bonasterie is perfectly placed to visit Avignon. Veronique and Fabrice were the best hosts you could ask for and were so very helpful. Also made the best cappuccino's. We were able to take our time and come and go as we pleased without feeling rushed. Very enjoyable time and we will be recommending La Bonasterie to others we know who may visit Avignon in the future.

The room had been nicely decorated, but we found it quite dark and at times difficult to see easily.

The location was perfect for exploring Avignon. The owners were very friendly and helpful, both with getting our very heavy bags up the steep narrow flights of stairs, with giving lots of advice regarding top places to eat and visit and with arranging a cab for our early morning departure. It was great to have air-conditioning in the hot weather we experienced in Avignon

Not a thing.

Not a hotel but a 500 year old building cum bed and breakfast. The entire experience was one of warmth and hospitality. Breakfast is simple but perfect (coffee/tea to order, cheeses, home made marmalades and yoghurt, fresh juice and a sampling of breads. Fabrice and Veronique go out of their way to be helpful but give you as much privacy as you wish. Couldn't have. been a more pleasant experience.

Perfect location, everything is within walking distance. There are many restaurants around there. Breakfast was amazing, we loved the yogurt and honey. The owner was friendly and nice, they gave us lots of information and recommendation.

Lovely small B&B in a historic building, nicely furnished, comfortable beds. Clean spaces and cozy atmosphere. Excellent location near restaurants and major sights. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Ceiling heights of room and bathroom fine for normal sized people, but with my 6 ft 5 inch height, had to be careful not to bang head in doorways.

The hosts at La Banasterie were absolutely charming and helpful. The location is wonderful; in an ancient building on a quiet street behind the Pope's Palace next to the charming Place de St. Pierre. Breakfast was very good. The hosts were very helpful with dinner recommendations.
