Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere was nothing wrong with it.
We were arriving late so the owner gave us information to get in which worked well. The room was beautifully furnished and there was a sitting room adjacent where we could make hot drinks and sit if wanted. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well and the room was dark. It was close to the ferry port so not far to drive and a short walk into the town to find bars and restaurants. Our host was very charming and the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Parking was available on site but was an extra cost.

This place is special. The owners have filled it with their love and passion. Our room was beautiful with excellent linens. The view was tremendous too. The building was completely renovated by the owners and they did a first rate job maintaining the historical aspects while adopting a modern style in the interior. You will like this place

United KingdomThis is not a criticism, more an observation. As well as the four letting rooms, thereare two lovely studios with kitchen area, bathroom and living space on the ground floor and a bedroom above, which Juliette kindly showed us round. Access to the bedroom is via an open staircase with no handrail. I would feel much happier sleeping up there if there was one!
Everything, but in particular the host, Juliette, who was very welcoming and accommodating. She had agreed in advance that we could leave our luggage at the property before check in and after check out but went the extra mile the night before we arrived with a text message to say that as our room was not occupied that night we could go into it as soon as we arrived. The property itself is light and airy - a clever conversion of a century old house - and although our room was quite small, we and the other guests were able to use the living room kitchen next to it which we did. The breakfast was excellent. Although we were without a car on this occasion, there is private parking on site which in our experience is quite rare for Roscoff. We have booked this for our next visit.

AustraliaAll was perfect!
Accommodation was a short walk (5 minutes) from Roscoff restaurants and shops. Very comfortable and stylish accommodation in an historic house. Tasteful, modern decor. Comfortable beds, well-appointed room and bathroom, and use of a communal kitchen/living area. We had the room with the rooftop terrace, which was lovely on a sunny day. Hostess, Juliet, is professional, helpful, warm and friendly. A generous breakfast with a wide range of options.

IrelandA world class place to stay in pretty Roscoff. Juliette has thought of everything in this beautifully restored and generous property. She takes extra special care of little ones - with a kid’s play haven, kid’s cutlery and cups and a lounge area for guests. The property is immaculate - perfectly kept and it even smells special! Highly recommended.

United KingdomWe loved everything about it.
A luxurious, exceptionally comfortable stay - the care given to every detail of decor, service and amenities is exceptional. Might be the best breakfast I’ve had in a hotel!! Have a chunk of the owner’s homemade bread pudding made from pain au chocolate and croissants! 5 mins from a peaceful tiny beach and a bunch of tidal outdoor swimming pools, ten mins from town centre on foot and it’s in a street of really unusual architecture. A treasure!

The house was set a short walk from the town centre and was easy to find. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice.

It’s super close to everything we walked everywhere. The breakfast was fantastic, she made us eggs to our liking and there were great cheese and bread and the most delicious bread pudding. United KingdomA bit pricey perhaps. A minor problem was that the hot water wasn't very hot when we arrived at 6pm, but it was fine later.
Spotless and impeccable decor, very comfortable, and extremely helpful hosts. We had a mishap with our car (long and embarrassing story) and Alex did a great job of temporarily repairing a broken window. We had to leave very early for the ferry but Juliette provided us with an excellent breakfast.
