The room was by the restaurant and was very noisy and there was a lot of noise until 230am so if you are a light sleeper this is an issue. There are tiled floors so you hear everything. There is no gym and I would certainly expect more facilities for the high price. The oool area needs more shaded area. Lots of staff around but at breakfast time it took ages for anyone to meet and greet. We were surprised that when we were asked how we wanted the eggs cooked and we said poached. we were simply told ‘no’ by the waitress. Bit weird that a good chef cannot poach an egg. Very expensive hotel for what it is.

Lovely ambience. Lovely gardens filled with herbs and wonderful view. Staff are pleasant. Great toiletries in room which was cleaned twice a day. Great check in with valet parking.

Top floor bedroom was poorly air-conditioned, had to leave windows open an d air conditioning on to cool room. Cafe Capelounge has an uninspired menu for a quick bite.

Breakfast was lovely but I think it would be good if you provided a full range of options to choose from. I was asked what I’d like but I didn’t know the whole range of options. For instance, I saw a couple at another table having omelettes but I didn’t know that was an option. I then saw someone having avocado on bread but I did not know that was an option. A menu would be good for breakfast.

Would have been nice to have had fresh fruit and water in the bedroom. It was hard to order food and drink at the pool. No bar snacks/light menu available after 630pm.

Lack of experience of the staff, just doing the minimum, no extra miles. The place has no soul, nothing special to create a memorable experience. Meals and consumptions are over priced.

Would be great to have 3 bathrooms/toilets if you are not keen on sharing. The mezzanine room is definitely the short straw but still lovely. Lunches were a little bit on the expensive side but delicious.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment and it was beautiful and tranquil. The room had a little terrasse, 2 bathrooms, 2 private rooms and 1 mezzanine room overlooking the living room. The soundproofing to the rooms was great! Venue is spectacular with a little onsite farm/allotment and lavender field. The 2 pools were lovely and the breakfast/dinner was delicious. We brought our baby and everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming of the baby which was great!

Restaurant is supposed to be Mitchelin Star but the food and menu choice was terrible. There was a choice of menus, one totally meat and the other vegetarian, and we were told we had to choose the same menu, We chose the vegetarian which was 130 euros per head and it was dreadful, portions would have filled an egg cup using cheap ingredients and everything served luke warm. The worst food ever in such a prestigious restaurant, and breakfast was just as bad.
