The owners and the staff were most helpful, thoughtful and kind. Breakfast was perfect. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It deserves more than 3 stars!

There wasn't a fridge, our AC didn't work well, and the front desk woman wasn't very friendly. We didn't feel like we were staying in an expensive hotel. And it was expensive. One of the most expensive of our extensive 3 week trip to France.

The view was everything. Our balcony was gorgeous and we loved being able to go swimming. We felt very safe, and the location was really close to everything we were doing while visiting.

Location is way above the town, so be prepared to hike down to the water (and back up) for dinner. Taxi stand available, but Uber is a better choice.

Excellent location! Short stroll to the public bus that takes you to Nice, Eve, Monaco. Gorgeous views of the sea and yachts from your private terrace with overhang for shade. Lovely swimming pool with view onsite. Fully stocked lounge bar available, with ice for beverages on your terrace. Loved room 3!

The rooms were lovely, aircon great!! Nice walk into the township where all the restaurants were. Beautiful patisserie down the road called Boulangerie Pâtisserie Vermeulen. Pool area great and clean. La Caravelle restaurant is great - all of them are $$ but this one is well worth the money. Beautiful food.

A bit of a walk to the old town

Great hotel overlooking the Mediterranean. Our room was clean and modern. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. The pool was refreshing and they gave us towels for the pool and the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. They served a very good breakfast with eggs made to order and many other nice choices. Eating breakfast on the terrace was one of the highlights of our trip. We really enjoyed our stay.

Not much - except the room was cramped. 2 years ago, we stayed in the larger room in the annex and did not realize the difference.

Balcony and view and location are great. Dining room staff were excellent, helpful and very friendly. Person at the front desk was efficient and helpful, but I wish she was a bit happier!!!

WiFi only supported one user per room, even though our reservation was for a room with 2 single beds, obviously meaning there would be 2 guests in the room. Furthermore, the room size was unbelievably disappointing, considering the cost.

Staff was functional but not really friendly. States bar is open from 8-8 but no one there. Have to track down a staff member who then pours and charges-and leaves. If you want another repeat the process. No refrigerator or mini bar in room. Bathroom very small

Location was about as far from center as I would accept but awls were fairly easy. Breakfast was good with hot eggs available only on Saturday.

Expected me to use the same paper cups for six days. I thought they would be refreshed when they performed housekeeping. I asked for new ones and was told that wasn’t possible. Very uncomfortable beds and pillows. Id rate the comfort a 2 or a 3. Lowest comfort of any hotel or Airbnb of anyplace we’ve stayed in France the past 3 weeks. This was one I feel Rick Steves got wrong, unless there just isn’t any other choices.

to be fair, it is what you get in the pictures. but it’s super outdated. also the noise travlls between the rooms very easily. We were hoping for a lie in but the cleaners chatting and shouting over the hoover at each other woke us up.

Too short.

This was a last minute reservation. We expected a room in the attic instead we got a room in the lower part of the building with a nice view of the sea. Everything was sparkling clean, the lady who welcomed us was very nice and polite. In addition the restaurant has an amazing overlook of the Villfranche-sur-Mer bay. We will come back for sure.

only complaint was the bad wifi.

We stayed in the family apartment which fit 4 people perfectly. The room was great for us and cleaned daily which was great. The view from the room was spectacular. The breakfast we had was also delicious. The owners were very responsive and helped book us a taxi and brought an extra fan into our room because the 2nd floor didn’t get enough air. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family!
