The hotel faces the main village square and the noise can be annoying (people chatting until late), as the window has very thin glasses. It was not a big problem for us but if you need some quiet ask for a room not facing the square.

Very nice hotel and super friendly staff (I think we were welcomed by the owner, she was incredibly friendly). The room was nice - not too small, with a nice comfy bed. Both room and bathroom were clean (the bathroom was spotless). Finding a parking space is very easy, there are plenty in the area. This is not a negative point per se but guests have to take into account, when booking, that the hotel doesn't have a lift (it is clearly stated in the description, so it wasn't a surprise). Guests who have problems lifting their suitcase might ask for help (as I said the staff is super friendly) but if you require a lift for other reasons you have to consider this factor.

Dinner on the terrace was excellent, worth it for that alone. Location is good, Labastide-Murat is a lovely little town either on route or to explore the Lot region. Rooms were clean and adequate. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful.

Superb location - right in the centre of a beautiful little town. Staff were exceptionally good - very friendly and helpful. Meals were ok - best gazpacho I think I've ever had. Parking - easy and free - right outside the hotel. We had a very comfortable room - very large and comfortable bed and plenty of room for an extra bed/day bed. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. We would definitely recommend to others and would be happy to stay there again.

Logis La Garissade is well situated in the middle of this charming little town. The staff were very helpful and even did our laundry (we were on bikes). All in all a lovely stay in a very beautiful part of the country.

We spent there only 1 night, unfortunately it was the night of the “fete de village” - meaning music just below our window till 4am! On top of it, a false fire alarm has woke up everyone at 7.40 😅 nothing of this of course is in the hand of the owner, who btw have kindly offered us the breakfast, but it has “marked” a bit the overall experience 😅

Located centrally in the very small village of Labastide Murat - the logis is simple but it has all what you need! The rooms are nice and very clean, the restaurant room is very nice, with stones and a big fireplace.

This hotel is set in the centre of a most beautiful village. We were immediately welcomed by the staff and our dog given refreshment. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. Evening meal was eaten in the hotel restaurant and was delicious. As was breakfast the following morning. The staff were very attentive and spoke excellent English. We both wished we could stay longer but unfortunately we were heading home and were on a schedule.

Lovely little town, easy access from a20. Staff were all excellent and very friendly. Took the budget room, as just one night passing through. Bathroom was small for long limbed husband but absolutely fine for average person! Dinner was superb as was breakfast. Also, extremely quiet - which we really appreciated.

The noise! The town appears to be on a rat-run for HGVs heading for the motorway that starts at 0600. The restaurant is rightly popular so lunches and aperos on the terrace below the window can defy siestas. Ear plugs are available at the pharmacie nearby. Post-prandial smokers and drinkers under the window can be damped by closing the shutters and windows - and then one is glad of the air-con :-) The coffee at breakfast is from a bean2cup device - I chose the chocolate instead :-)

The hotel was excellent in terms of room standards (cleanliness, furniture, beds, etc). The air-con worked well (but see below). Breakfast was a standard buffet and tended towards the gourmet, as befits a restaurant. The evening meals are not to be missed.

We felt cheated. The prices indicated at the reception are LOWER than what you pay if you book via booking.com. We asked about it and the receptionist (who we think was also the owner or at least manager) informed us that it is "common" and done more often. We have not seen it before. Breakfast not very good ; limited choice very unflexible restaurant which could serve only exactly what was on the menu and nothing else.
