Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt was hard to keep the room temperature warm enough, the weather was cool and wet.
We stayed in the La Maison rooms, which are a short walk from the main hotel. The hotel in perfectly located near Place D' Quebec for D-day and Mont St. Michel tour meeting place. The breakfast was standard European hotel breakfast, nothing special. It was warm and plentiful. The coffee from a machine was good, not great. We arrived before our room was ready so they kept our luggage in reception, and it was in out room when we checked in. Thank You.

United States of AmericaThe strict check-in time of 3 pm. I'm pretty sure our room was ready, but the receptionist on duty wasn't going to accommodate us a half-hour early.
Perfect location. We did eat at restaurant first night for dinner and had their excellent mussels, which aren't always available. Reservations are taken for hotel guests, and we ate outdoors. It is very busy! Unfortunately, people are still allowed to smoke outdoors in France so be warned. (We ate at La Marsala down the street the second night; the only bad meal we ate in France over 8 days.) Price for breakfast too much. But there are so many wonderful bakeries and coffee shops at a quarter of the price nearby. We took D-Day tour from hotel, which is about 100 yards from the hotel. The Bayeaux Museum is 200 yards away as is the cathedral. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance. We traveled by train. Walk to hotel is flat and about half-mile walk.

United States of AmericaSome rooms are not in the main building with the restaurant and main office, but that was not an issue for us.
The room was lovely and clean. For breakfast, there was coffee, juice, breads, yogurts, and American offerings like bacon and eggs. The location is near the cathedral, tour pick-ups, and many restaurants. We walked from the train station but taxis are available. Bayeux is a must-see. Don't miss the famous tapestry.

United States of AmericaSo glad we stayed here! Bedrooms were big, updated, and very clean. The food at Hotel restaurant was also good and reasonably priced. The location was great, walking distance to shops and cafes. It was also super close to the train station. Furthermore our pickup point was only 200 yards away. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is a very charming town.

United States of AmericaWe traveled in mid-March, enjoyed some sunny days, but the weather was still quite chilly.
Our hotel room was very spacious and comfortable, located in a beautiful city that is very walkable with many restaurants close by. Our favorite restaurant during our stay was Bonbonne. I'd recommend getting a reservation, you won't want to miss it. Great cocktails (try Tonka Fever) and many great plates, and lots of gluten free options that my husband appreciated. We took the local city walking tour and the BayeuxShuttle all day D-Day tour and would recommend both.
