We spent two nights in a charming studio at this little hotel in the hilltop village of Bonnieux. The studio was very well equipped, and the separate bedroom area had a lovely view over the plain below Bonnieux. The hotel also had a beautiful garden and swimming pool, which were very pleasant in the early summer heat. Bonnieux is not quite as well known as some of the other villages of the Luberon, and is therefore less touristy and more attractive, we think.

First off, on site free parking in a town difficult to park in. The location is in central Bonnieux so it’s and easy up or down to everything. The breakfast was plentiful and wholesome and delicious. The host greeted us and was helpful and friendly. Definitely would stay here again, though we dream of having our own house!!

This hotel has a beautiful ambience. We loved the spacious room and full bathroom, delicious breakfast, location and refreshing pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bonnieux is a lovely village - sunset drinks looking across the valley will be a special memory for us both.

Nothing not to like.

So comfortable, our room had beautiful views over the valley. It was hot so we spent some hours over the course of 4 days enjoying the gardens and the pool. Breakfast was great, all in all, could not recommend more highly as a spot to stay.

I'm struggling to think of anything I didn't like! .......But two very small things - maybe it would have been nice if the pool was slightly heated and if fresh coffee was available for breakfast?

The perfect small hotel in Provence! The gardens and pool were a really lovely sanctuary, great views from the breakfast room, easy free parking next to the hotel (not to be underestimated in Provence), a really useful shared kitchen for the guests to use, a very comfortable bed, great breakfast including at least two freshly make cakes each day! The hotel was really well run, relaxed, clean, well-situated and nicely furnished. It suited me perfectly and I was so happy to have booked it. I recommend it whole-heartedly.

We stayed 4 nights at Le Clos Du Buis with family comprising 2 grandparents, son and daughter and 5 year old granddaughter. Our rooms were bright and attractive and Provençal in colours and decoration. Everything was spotlessly clean. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The hotel has its own parking spaces but if they are full there is easy parking on the street. Being in the heart of the village there were several restaurants nearby which were open even this late in the season. hi Excellent breakfast and we had access to other facilities, like a washing machine, which we put to good use. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

It's a non-smoking facility (YAY!!) but there were still folks smoking in the common area of the grounds near the pool.

Don't hesitate. This place is fabulous. The room was comfortable and well proportioned. Closet space, kitchenette, nice bathroom (stand up shower, good sink space, private feel commode). Loved the balcony and grounds in general, and the staff are so, so nice. Super helpful with checkin, amazing breakfast spread, informative about area restaurants, and helped with chargers as well (I think we left another for their collection, ha ha). Definitely be driving or arrange a driver for airport transfer to/from Marseilles. It's about an hour and fifteen minutes' drive.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Manager was so pleasant! Breakfast was a very nice selection - something for everyone. Very helpful that there was a (small) washer and dryer available for our use in the second kitchen (would have been fun to cook there if we stayed longer).
