My room was rather small and dark. I wished there had been croissants at breakfast and also more and fresher fruit.

The bathroom was just great - the easiest and best shower I encountered on my whole trip. The women staff were very pleasant and helpful. They had Canadian maple syrup for the crepes! The location was perfect for access to the Remparts and to the centre of the town.

There wasn’t any inside sitting area apart from the dining space. Again room size ok for one but would have been cramped for two inside a double room.

Great location very friendly staff. Quiet room but rather small. If I went back with my wife I would like a larger room but still in a quiet place.

Some rooms are street side on ground level. It did not disturb us, but some guests might have issues for privacy or security reasons. As said, this did not bother us.

The rooms were big with enough space to move around. If you know French hotels you know what I mean! The free public parking is less than 50 meters away (outside old city walls). Some rooms are street side on ground level. There is no need to climb stairs. Very pet friendly environment.

Fantastic and perfect location. The room was wonderful, spacious and had everything one needed. We booked a double and got a room with two extra beds! Seldom had a hotel room which had all the necessities. 4 extra pillows, more than enough mirrors, electric kettle, window blinds and curtains, box of tissues, a complimentary mineral water and lots more. Good and substantial breakfast.

The accommodation is getting rough around the edges (which is probably reflected in the price). There was black mould in the shower cubicle and on the ceiling of the bathroom.

The location and parking were great, and the hotel offers good value overall. Breakfast was par for the course. Front of house were pleasant.

The "air conditioned" rooms didn't really apply to all. Our room was not air conditioned which normally is not an issue, but in this summer heatwave it was. Luckily there was a fan in the closet which helped, but it was a disappointment to find this amenity didn't apply to all rooms.

The room was nice--clean and pretty. The hotel itself is cute and has a nice history, which we love. Easily located as well which is nice when traveling by car. Staff was helpful and spoke English, which always helps us less linguistically talented travelers.

The breakfast was very poor for the cost.

The location of the hotel is perfact in the centre of Obernai. The room was OK with nice bathroom and drinks tray. It was a little warm but a fan was provided. The secure private parking was very good even at 7 euros per night. The breakfast breakfast was disappointing. Not much choice of meat and cheese, both the bread and croissants were dry.

I understand it is an old house, but at least my room would have needed some overhaul. Carpet very much worn, wallpaint faded and in minor state in places, cabinet in a bad condition with only one shelf usable. The rooms should get as much attendance as the public areas of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Obernai. Family room was spacious and located on the ground floor which made wheeling the buggy in super convenient. The room beautifully done within the rustic style of the hotel. Breakfast diverse and plentiful. Staff was very attentive. The courtyard is just a dream for a morning coffee.

Rooms are little and it can be uncomfortable for those staying longer. No balcons to the rooms.

Very nice hotel concept with unique rooms. Very friendly staff (we left there a quite expensive sport equipment and they stored it for us for weeks). Located in the center of Obernai, but the rooms are quiet, you can relax or work anytime. The building is beautiful as well as the decorations.

The website said 'free' car park, this wasn't free, you were directed to a free municipal cark park around the corner with no guarantee of a space, breakfast was only available to purchase at the hotel, and at 24 euro per room, this was a surprise, it should of been on website

Although the hotel has announced, that private parking is available, we were told, that there is no free place and we had to look for parking in the city, which was quite difficult.

No air conditioning, it was hot and we could not open the windows, because there is some spot outside on our side where there was a lot of people till 3 am and were really loud. So we would be happy for air conditioning.

Really nice location, very friendly stuff, big room for 4 persons, 20 minutes from Strasbourg.
