There is nothing I can think of that I dislike about Le Moulin de Connelles.

Beautiful, elegant country hotel between Rouen and Vernon (near Paris). Our jr. suite was very well-appointed; our grandson’s double room was very nice (when offered a jr. suite he declined). Both breakfast and dinner were excellent with almost unrivaled ambiance. Kari was very accommodating and helpful in planning visits to nearby castle ruin, churches, villages, etc. This is not an economy setting but it is worth every penny. This is our favorite hotel property in France and we’ve come to France ten times since 1990.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel

The building is delightful and spans a river onto its own large private island with beautiful trees, where you can sit and enjoy the peace of the river seine and in the summertime use the swimming pools. The owner manageress is very friendly and speaks perfect English. nothing is too much trouble for her, the dining room is pretty and overlooks the water and the food is delicious. This hotel is quite a find. It takes about 40 minutes to drive to Giverny and this makes a wonderful day out.

An amazing old mill on a branch of the Seine. The staff are lovely and made us feel very welcome. There’s a lovely outdoor pool and rowing boats to borrow. Good food and comfortable public areas.

A wonderful hotel run with personal care and attention. Beautifully positioned over the river with wonderful views and a good location just outside Rouen, close to Paris and only 2.5 hours from the channel tunnel. Karine and her team could not make you feel more welcome, dinner and breakfast were excellent and the garden and surroundings were beautiful. Room was super comfy and clean and a little balcony overlooking the river. Highly recommended.

Delightful hotel, handsome example of mid C19th Deauville Normandie architecture in a fine setting by the Seine, Friendly, welcoming, helpful proprietor and staff. This is everything a hotel should be - run by people who care about their hotel and their guests and make sure everything runs smoothly. A nice change from the impersonal atmosphere of big hotel chains. We loved our room and enjoyed fine dinners and great breakfasts. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic nature and areas to relax (of which you have many all for yourself during the day). We visited with our dog, and it was perfect. The owner (and employees in general!) are super nice and professional. The food in the restaurant is also very good (both breakfast and dinner). We also tried the picnic lunch during our small boat trip (an experience which we can also recommend!) :-)

If you ever wanted to go to a storybook fairytale castle this is where you should stay. This fairytale castle came with a fairy godmother hostess named Karin. A 13th century mill sitting over the Seine tributary which is peaceful with only birds chirping and swans swimming on the river. We went rowing on the river for an unforgettable scenic experience. Breakfast is delicious and do not miss the dinners. Better than any Michelin restaurant. All this was magically and warmly offered by the owner hostess Karin. Thank you for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Everything was fabulous. Perhaps a fan in the room, as it was extremely humid during our stay.
