No tea/coffee facilities in room. Shower very slippery when getting out. Towels very thin.

Proximity to our boat while winterising. Good restaurant, great staff. Good facilities for boat owners.

Our toilet wasn’t cleaned. Paper slip showing it had been cleaned but it was dirty. Rooms very hot during mosquito season. No netting. Felt like we were not trustworthy as we were watched all the time we unloaded our panniers. Were we going to sneak our bikes upstairs when there was perfect storage for bikes? Unpleasant.

Excellent location for the Loire Vélo cycle route with pleasing views across the port. Safe bicycle storage. Breakfast good.

The doors slam shut. The bike storage is a long way from the rooms.

Small, noisy room. We could have watched tv with the sound of the neighbours.

The airco in the room, the place next to a small harbour was nice, that we could dine with also pleasant.

Small room with harbor view is through one window. Nice though. Since this is a marina, the hotel had a clothes washer and dryer which I was grateful to use. Great place for a bicycle tour stop.

View on the ugly and huge building hospital building.

Excellent location, convenient and practical. Bicycle garage with powersupply for ebike charging. Restaurant on site. Clean rooms. Dog accepted. No cars. Walk for the dog. Charming city.

Wifi did not work. The buildings blocked the cell signal so phones and computers did not work online. I reported this and asked for help. The staff was unable to fix and it seemed their phones had the same issue. The refrigerator smelled of a strong garlicky sausage or something like that. It was nauseating and unusable for food. I had to throw our food out. Also no soap, sponge or dish towel or paper towels were provided for cleaning up after cooking so we decided we should not try to cook the meal we had planned and I could not save it for later since the fridge was so disgusting. I did report this when we discovered it but the staff could not find an effective solution. It was a holiday so the stores were closed so there was no option to buy supplies. It’s the first lodging we’ve stayed since Covid in that did not even provide hand soap. They did provide 2 tiny bottles of bath gel which is not the same. There were curly hairs on the bathroom floor around the toilet. The extra pillows were stained and there were no covers for them. It’s a shame that such a cute place does not follow through with the important details to provide for a pleasant stay. I would not recommend this place .

The rooms are adequate in size but not large. There are no tea and coffee facilities, so that adds to the price. We had an issue with a beeping Aircon. We called but the answer phone message said to call an out of hours number. It was said so fast we could not get the number although we tried many times. We emailed but this was not picked up until the next day. The beeping reduced to 20 minutes, so we eventually slept through it. If the answer phone message could be remade much slower no doubt we could have spoken to someone and moved rooms etc.

Value. The rate for our room on the hotel website and price list was 212 euros including taxes but we were charged 248 euros because (as the receptionist said) "it was our stupid fault for booking through Booking.com". The charge was made up of 210 for the room, 2 for taxes and 36 euros commission to Booking.com (who swear they don't charge commission). My complaint to Booking.com is still not answered. Even at the proper price of 210 euros it was expensive for what it was. Quality. The room itself was pretty basic, gave the impression that it was done on the cheap. Although it had a tiny kitchenette it would have been impossible to cook as there was no equipment or space to prepare food other than a huge saucepan and frying pan. Not even a sharp knife nor any cutting board. The cutlery was virtually unusable because it was so poor quality that it bent if you tried to use it. The shower valve was very obviously broken so squirted water everywhere and temperature control was impossible which was dangerous because the hot water was scalding hot. Cleaning. You have to bring all your own cleaning materials for washing up, drying and general kitchen cleaning. WiFi. We didn't get this to work on any device. It was provided by a third party and required going to an insecure site to which both Microsoft and Android systems prevented access. This was all very disappointing as we had seen it being built and even attended the opening ceremony years ago.

The restaurant is good and the location by the port is good if that's where you want to be. We saw some very good friends who live in the town.
