Hotel located on the shore of Lake Geneva, with unique interior of overloaded bric-a-brac with charm, a well-frequented upmarket restaurant.

Nevermind the wall colour or the design of the furniture, but the room needs to be functional. What i didn't like was the clutter in the room, 12cushions (on the bed and chairs) and some other items laying around making the room dysfunctional.

Not much. Rooms may be a bit small. The buildings are old, you can't change the layout of the rooms, without destroying the charm of the place.

This hotel is absolutely standing out in many ways! It reflects the glamour of old fashioned and luxurious hotels in Evian. It is situated at the lake front of lac Léman. A lot of the charming, slightly overdecorated and luxurious glamour had been transformed in to a style, suiting our present time and still is quite affordable. It's a fascinating place to be! I love the hotel, staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is hard to be beaten!

The hotel looks great, it is really tipical of the region. The breakfast is amazing. They have a private deck on the lake. The spa is free and amazing.

At breakfast, a hotel employee rudely told us that there were 4 people sitting at a table for 7 people and that the table was reserved and left. However, there was no table for 4 people and others could come and sit in the empty seats. Again, some of the other hotel guests were seated as 2 people at a table for 4 people and did not say anything to them. Unfortunately, my son is very upset with this racist and rude attitude. We lost all our fun. When I explained the situation to the reception, they were not even interested. No one can behave so insolently and arrogantly to a family on holiday. I strongly condemn the hotel and its employees

Beautiful hotel with access to nice sauna and jacuzzi . I imagine in summer will be super nice! 20mins from center of evian. You can walk along the lake!

Breakfast didn't quite meet the expectations set by dinner. Room was small but we weren't expecting more.

The restaurant was absolutely fantastic and the place was bursting with character. We were just staying for one night but it was memorable.

Being a vegetarian, I especially selected this hotel because it had a restaurant that offered a full vegetarian option. The main course (arancini with mushrooms and a dill sauce) was really up to my expectations, but what a disappointment with the starter! It had NO taste at all. The figs were bland (it is the end of the season so they were ripe, but absolutely devoid of flavor), the underneath comté cracker was also tasteless and it was all smothered in a lukewarm and cloying whipped double cream that was neither sweet nor salty and topped with - also bland - red currants. So no, that was not good at all and I left most of the cream, which I am not wont to do since I hate food waste.

Everything was ready and clean, the room was a bit kitschy but it was not a problem and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was copious and varied, the bread was delicious and so was the cheese on offer. Another time, I might indulge in the spa or hammam facility, but did not have the presence of mind to bring my own bathing suit, so I passed this time.

My friends staying in another room found the room very small for two people,made less comfortable because of the additional furniture,occasional tables,plastic flowers etc which they called clutter. Too many scatter cushions. My room was fine for me as a solo traveller but had there been two of us it would have been cramped.

The food was excellent and the breakfast too. It has a great location right on the lake shore. My bed was very comfortable,and my room had a lovely view across the lake.

Entertaining hotel with a very British arts and crafts feel. Lots of quirky furnishing (some people would unkindly use the word clutter) but comfortable with excellent staff. Location is perfect and restaurant very good

Small niggles. No aircon. Small rooms could do with a bit of decluttering e.g, had to climb around chairs. Gym smelled musty and uninviting. Breakfast was a bit pricey and would be better inclusive. Access to cool soft drinks or fridge later on hot evenings would be nice. Drinks by the pool were not allowed.

Very friendly family run hotel with obvious care for the standards at the hotel. Clean rooms. Swimming pool was nice. table tennis and use of bikes was great. Location on the lake was fabulous. Breakfast selection was large.

Bathroom was a little small No aircondition in the rooom but the fan in the room was good.
