We had a street view room which was a bit noisy on Friday night but not the fault of the hotel.

Great location, really clean and love the quirky decor. The staff were all great and I liked that you could put requests in before arriving like iron, kettle etc. Being able to check in before was really helpful.

The room was really claustrophobic, with a very low ceiling, cramped spaces, a small window; maybe it can be a single room but certainly not a double room. The ventilation system in the bathroom did not work (and in any case the outlet vent discharged into the room and not outside). Fairly old air conditioning. A real wardrobe is missing; just a corner with shelves. Tiny bathroom; separate toilet in a windowless cabin. The minibar was not working. Even the common spaces (the corridors and especially the stairs) are really claustrophobic and narrow; I think they don't even respect safety regulations. The bed base was also visibly worn. In general, I don't think these characteristics are in line with a 4-star hotel (unless the French standards for a 4-star hotel are particularly different).

The location is the real strength of the hotel. The breakfast hall is elegantly and warmly decorated. The hotel participates in an interesting environmental initiative: if guests put up a sign on the door to give up the cleaning daily service, a tree is planted (I hope this really happens).

Perfect location- metro station just around the corner, food shops, small cafes- few steps away. Our room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated in theatre theme with lots of attention to little details. We really enjoyed the balcony- beautiful view over roofs of Paris where you can spend the evenings with a glass of wine or watch the sunrise over the Paris in the mornings. The neighbourhood seemed safe, but we didn't walk around at night. Bed and pillows was very comfortable, and what is important- we didn't hear any noise from outside at night, quite and peaceful sleep. Amazing, polite and very friendly staff, ready to help with everything you need.

shower too small with thing broken. had to put a piece of paper to hold it. no a/c just heater. comforters were polyester therefore too hot. had to remove it from sheets to sleep. bed protector was also polyester. too hot. had to remove from bed. room was too small and badly designed.

If you are over 6ft tall, don't stay here. The ceilings and door opening are 5' 11". It's really a very very ordinary hotel for the price.

My room was located on the only floor without an elevator which proved to be a challenge with my luggage as the stairs were very steep and narrow. Also there was no room service available despite being advertised in the room.

The area, though central, was quite dodgy and dirty. The room was good overall but the ceiling does not fit a person who is taller than 175 cm so only laying down was comfortable :)

The balcony in the room was really lovely! The beds are super comfy and the room is clean and freshly painted, with stylish design. Tasty basic breakfast with great coffee. Great service from English speaking personnel. Many quality restaurants nearby, walking distance to Louvre and Picasso museum.

Unfortunately, there was a leak during my one-night stay and I was not informed that the water had been cut. However, the very kind staff made up for it by allowing me to stay an hour after check-out time to take a shower once water was back.

Location is ideal and very quiet, the staff is really nice.

Well for starters the hotel is very narrow everywhere. Corridors and everything feels small! Second the breakfast is a really simple one. You can expect bread, coffee, jam and two small pastries, ham and cheese. I requested an early check-in and the room was not ready on time, worse than that it was not ready at 2pm as well which is the regular check-in hour. I also requested a kettle and robe for my room and never got them as well. It is not a 4 star hotel at all. I've been to many 4 star hotels and this is equivalent to a 3 star hotel.

The staff is really helpful and made the stay enjoyable. The bed was also confortable and the room was clean.
