Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandOnly pro was there were ants. Owner said he's been treating this but they came through at night and in the morning all through the bathroom.
Very cute room. Bed is up stairs, narrow stairs. This didn't bother us. Bathroom is under the stairs. Staff were really nice. I didn't check out the pool area but a,walk to beach and town was not even 5 minutes. Really lovely town. I would stay again.

IsraelThe soundproofing is not ideal. The bed was located in an upper gallery, accessible by narrow and steep stairs. The front door/window overlooks the street, while the curtains are too light to provide enough privacy.
I traveled off-season, and was looking for a cheap one-night stay. For the price I payed, the hotel was superb - clean, very close to the busy area of the city, and above all - with incredibly nice and helpful staff.

CanadaRoom was very small, pool could have been cleaner & more inviting with a few more umbrellas & newer loungers. We stayed for two nights but the room was not cleaned between. Don’t mind making my own bed but when paying for a room I expect the bathroom to be cleaned & bed made at a minimum.
Great location to visit the old town & ferry to St. Tropez. Simple basic room with tiny kitchen. Very clean, senior concierge was great, very helpful.

FranceOur only minor complaint was the lock for the door. It was tricky to open even after we had been shown a couple of times how to open it.
We really liked the location! The hotel is located in a residential area away from the busy promenade but within a 3 block walk to the beach.

RomaniaPay attention the check in closes at 8pm, it is probably mentioned in the booking, I missed it. They are very inflexible with this. After several messages through booking telling them we are not able to make it they told us: sorry, we closed at 8 pm. Only after I called, the guy which I think is the owner made a concession to wait until 9pm. We took the highway to reach them, we couldn`t do our drive on the coast as we wanted to. I asked for alternatives: leave us the instructions and we will get in the room; get the key from a different location. The answer was no:)
The location is around 10 minutes from the beach front. The rooms are pretty good, not extremely clean, but acceptable : you have a small garden in front for each room, inside there is a sofa, table, bathroom with shower and kitchenette. For the bed you have to climb the stairs. We didn`t take breakfast, but it was available for 10 or 12 eur. Free public parking was available on the street.

BelgiumShower quite small and dark. Kitchenette little outdated, no microwave, but sufficient to make basic breakfast and lunch. Overall a little bit run down. Would still recommend if you look for a place with swimming pool close to the town of St Maxime including parking.
Good location: 5 minutes walk to the town of St Maxime, 10 minutes to the beachfront and harbor, where you can take the ferry to St Tropez (14€ return, every 20 minutes). Parking available in the street. Nice outdoor seating area with comfortable sunbeds. Large pool, however water not spotless. Very friendly staff. Little outdoor terrace next to our room. Comfortable bed, large fridge.

NetherlandsParking in front of the hotel is an issue if you want your car very nearby. I personally would like to feel less disencouraged to take my own food and drinks to the pool by the Information flyer in the room.
The owner and personnel are very friendly. English spoken if necessary. A walk into town is no more than 2 minutes. Everything you want or need is in short walking distance. Enough beds and parasols at the pool. The room was clean and has all necessary facilities. The shower was small but good for us.

PortugalEven the owner does not know how to explain the origin of the hotel ))))
5 min walk to the wonderful city beach, almost 100 years old hotel, extremely clean, new furniture, a private terrace in the room, and a shared pool in the backyard of the hotel. The entrance terrazzo with the hotel's name is a tiny piece of art. The shutters and the round window up to them are divine details. Thanks to the hotel the town of St Maxime is now our favorite place at Cote D Azur.
