Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was very hot there and it was not always possible to have a cold drink. A couple of times we were told the bar was shut and there was nowhere else to get refreshments. I think they need to up their game in that area.
The ambiance and its location.

HungaryWould have been even nicer if the event going on when we arrived wasnt private so we could spend some time in the event area too!
Enchanting project run by friendly hosts. Its a 300 year old factory turned into a guesthouse and cultural hub. We visited in low season but the common areas and room in themselves were interesting enough to make us wish we had more time to just enjoy the surroundings.

SpainThe doors in our room squeaked as it is usual with old doors. The sensor light in the hallway of our room was flickering but we forgot to tell the staff. These were just small things that didn't really bother us and can certainly be taken care of by the staff in no time at all.
An old house with a lot of charm and nostalgia, lots of beautiful antique furniture, lots of space, spacious rooms, large parking lot. All in a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Exactly what we want. The manager, Franck and his team are friendly, helpful and do their job perfectly. The breakfast is French, sweet and not savoury. Croissant and baguette were very fresh and tasty. The location of the hotel is ideal, in the middle of the picturesque book village. Everything is within walking distance. The medieval fortified town of Carcassonne La Cite is only about 20km away, which is unique, impressive and really worth seeing. Overall the hotel didn't look as good as the pictures on the website, which is totally understandable after the lockdown period and winter months. But improvements and renovations were clearly underway and I'm sure Franck and his team will make it even better. In summer it will definitely be much better to sit outside to enjoy the picturesque scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Unfortunately, we caught the bad weather in April with a lot of strong wind. Nevertheless, we ended up falling in love with both the village and the hotel and will happily return when the opportunity arises.

United States of AmericaThe property description claimed that each room has a balcony or terrace. The room I was given had neither. The temperatures were greater than 38 c there was not even a fan. I drove to the store and purchased one. Only one window opened and it was covered with vines and hornet nests. When I asked about the balcony, I was told no. although the description of the room even had two pictures of the balcony! I have stayed here before and that is why I returned. I will never stay here again. it was miserable. No ventilation. No opportunity to gain the morning or evening breeze. I was so looking forward to sitting on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine. But no. At 10 euros, the breakfast is expensive for what you get, not worth it. Walk five minutes to town and get your bread/croissant/juice for a fraction of the price. The coffee is 100% better at the bakery as well and is only 1 euro. There is an outdoor seating area at the bakery, lovely.
