Check in not until 5pm. The shower was not full length, ok if you were Toulouse-Lautrec! Our room wasn't serviced on the first day.

Lovely Château hotel, beautiful furnishings and in a nice setting. Breakfast was a very good continental selection. Near to beach and excellent restaurant and supermarket.

Steep stairs to upper floor bedrooms. No lift. Unsuitable therefore for those with mobility problems.

Excellent location close to the sea, away from the crowds of the town center. Comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Good breakfast. Restaurants are about 2km away (except one which is 2 minutes away). Carrefour is about 15 minutes away.

Charming large 19th-century villa set in several acres of woodland garden with an aviary at the bottom. Large comfortable set of rooms with a balcony and separate sitting room. No lift and five flights of stairs to carry your suitcases up. No hotel services.

Easy parking, close to golf course, level walk to sea front and town a bit further level walk away. Good sized room and en-suite bathroom with hair dryer. Large grounds surrounding the villa. Decent continental breakfast. TV in the bedroom. Tea and coffee in the room.

It's almost trivial but initially it was difficult to get into the ground as the is an electrically operated gate. This was easy once we had a key.

Our room would have benefitted in having a comfortable chair to sit in. Also the breakfast room was so quiet maybe a bit of background music would have helped and stopped you feeling so conspicuous if you made any noise 😀

Peaceful location but still not far from the towns. There was no pressure you were left alone to enjoy your stay but Eric was about if you needed anything.

Great location, nice-friendly hosts and great breakfast. Quite close by beach and the town. At first when we arrived there was a problem with the booking as apparently we could only stay for 2 vs 3 nights. Fortunately the owner was very helpful getting this solved with Booking.com and re-arranged prices. Previous reviews stated some different experiences with the owner/host but ours was very positive and also the lady who take care of the breakfast and dealt with the check out was genuine very friendly and nice. Great experience to have stayed at a Manoir for once. A piece of land and beautiful garden around and some chickens-rabbits and white ducks walking around in the back.

Poor quality towels, only one pillow and two square cushions on the bed, not enough for two people, shower room and enclosure very small, first room didn't have a shower, just an attachment on the bath taps

garden furniture wasn't in the style of the house. shower didn't have enough pressure. house needs some renovation.

Arrived at 3:30pm, tried buzzer and phone number but no reply as gate was locked. Contacting booking.com we were told we could not get in until 5pm. Arrived at 5:30pm and still no answer to buzzer and phone. 20 mins later we got in. We had the same problem on day of departure - we had to wait for 10 mins for lady to ‘let us out’!!!

Location was very good, excellent breakfast and comfortable bed. Rooms quirky.
