Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We got a room with the bathroom for handicapped which is no problem other than you have no cover for water going everywhere when you shower. Also one door of the wardrobe was missing. Notthing major but could use bit of refinement

Nothing special. I love everything. Just a small details: they don't recharge bottles of water in the room. You need order someone at the reception to have it.
Kind and helpful staff, comfortable and cleans rooms. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful and renewed decor.

The bathroom door was so close to the sink when it opens that I squished accidently my finger between the two and that was painful. It is quite dangerous especially when there are kids around.
Great location, stuff and the room was overall convenient.

Spacious room with a huge and comfortable bed! The pool is a bit small but still it was nice to have a dip with our baby who loves water! Breakfast was great - a lot of various choices. Brunch was also very nice on Sunday! Walking distance from Part Dieu station.

the room was not very clean, the carpet was a bit dirty and the room full of dust. there is no possibility to order fruit or a snack during the day, only pizza until 7pm they tried to add extra costs (breakfast, valet parking) when we did not use these services

The rooms are OK, but not measure up to the renovated entry floor. The bad is squeaky and the really annoying part was the shower. The stream is so weak you can barley wash up the soap... for everyone of us (on different rooms) the shower was a big letdown
The breakfast was superb! One of the best I ever had. Don't miss it. The lobby and restaurant area (the whole entry floor, looks new and modern.

Breakfast was over-priced so we had it in a cafe nearby. Pillows on tge bed were flimsy.
A very comfortable stay (great bed!). Although the pool is small it was great to have a swim after a day’s travelling.

It was the quality of the food for the cost that really let the hotel down. We ordered room service and the burger was very nice but the pizza was stone cold on arrival and we ate only one slice. I would stay again but not for the amount we paid and would eat elsewhere next time.
The room was very nice - 2 big beds just what we needed with little one. The pool was ok - not big enough to really swim in and not sure it felt 'heated'.

I didn't like the practice of taking a deposit from my credit card and then taking up to two weeks to return it. It meant I had access to less funds for my trip and they are borrowing money from their guests.

The hotel did not have porters to help with the luggage. This can’t be acceptable from a four stars hotel.

Parking ONLY for the very small cars, it wasn't provided in the description and I've really counted on it. In my room there were some blinking bulbs (I think there were an electrical cable issues)
