To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I would like to emphasize the beautifully designed interior of the hotel lobby. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in march and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in the heart of the Champs-Elysees and is a quick commute to all the major attractions. Staff was helpful & friendly. The room was pretty clean.

KuwaitThe day before I left the hotel, a situation occurred in front of me that made me resent the situation. It was about 11:45 midnight. I was standing in front of the counter to print papers for the PCR examination. The employee was very helpful, in the meantime, a person came from outside and asked the employee to call the concierge employee. she went and left me without asking permission and then the concierge employee came and the person reprimanded him and told him that he is a member of Marriott, and then the concierge employee came to the counter where I was standing and called the person and he did not ask permission or apologize from me, I had to stand by and he finished the person’s transaction and still My transaction is pending, so I spoke with the employee from a very small opening, the situation was bad and the service was worse and they did not respect my presence for fear that he is a member of Marriott

QatarFirst of all, staff are not welling to help or provide assistance. secondly, i called requesting to change the room and other calls requesting different things and they always ignored me . They used my debit card for the stay payment after i left the hotel which I don’t accept, and which means they withdraw the money twice. The payment was only declined after i called them. And they don’t care to answer enquiries, I have been sending emails for more than a month and no reply received yet.
